I think that’s true.....the premise of the thread.

There are many things to love and enjoy outside of any relationship.

And just because you’re loveless, doesn’t mean you’re single!

Ha!

One can, definitely, feel a lack of love even when married.

@Peacesells: Oh, more red/blue pill dichotomies. Big news.

Nothing in my bedroom has anything to do with the Matrix unless it's on my desk. Those are pretty big words for someone adhering to a made-up philosophy of misogyny.

I find your being challenged by the notion of female equality weaker than any guy who puts women first. Go back to your place. See what I did there?

If having a spine makes me a misogynist, then yes I am a misogynist.
Why don't you go sucking up to some chick instead of talking of stuff you know nothing about?

if we're equal, shouldn't we be treated the same, and not put on the pedestal and worshipped?

would you talk to a female like that?

Yes, true, but for some of us there's this one door is locked because either a) no one fancies us enough or b) our lack of social skills make it difficult to form a sexual/loving relationship and that's frustrating.

It's ok for those who've had relationships to tell us how s**t they are, but we want to become jaded for ourselves and experience the wonderfulness of the first buzzing hormonal dizziness at the beginning and then the crash and then the jadedness like a regular human adult.

Although saying that I shall i add to the positive sdntiments of the OP. Theres now't quite like family. Goodness knows we have a lot of opinionated and slightly batty people in our family, but there's no one like them and that love you get from them.

So yes there are other kinds of fulfilling love.

If only we could speak of love as the Greeks do our forum would be less confusing.

I used to work with a Greek guy and he was explaining different Greek terms to me... I can't really do the explanation justice. Our words are not enough in English to give nuance to the variety.

My married friends are always wary of their wives when we hang out, and they don't hide it- like if it gets bit late they are 'Uh oh my wife would be mad'. Wives bossing their men around is a verryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy common scenario .....too common to the extent that it feels like a social NORM ; even my mother keeps bossing my father around.

i get the idea that my father developed leukaemia (and melanoma and god knows what else he had) as a consequence of 30 years + of constant nagging and bossing, and i wouldn't be too surprised if he escaped to the hospital just to avoid that.

They make the hospital such a pain in the butt....so you don’t want to stay there.....constant waking up to take blood, give pills, etc

Lol....not a place to avoid nagging.

Very true!

It’s a place to receive constant nagging. I thought I was going to go crazy the last time I was there.

Excuse me? :?

I started this thread. I've never been in a relationship in my life.

A couple evenings ago when I left my sister's place to walk home it was to the sound of my 3yo nephew, Chaos, shouting the words: "I love you uncle!" Melted my  for sure! :D

And just last night while I was working 45kms away (and had some volunteer work queued up to borrow a truck and help a single mother who's infant son was murdered 2 years ago move their heavy furniture to their new place afterwards) I received a text message inviting me to the restaurant a couple of my God kids were having dinner with their father at. I haven't seen them in months because their family lives busy lives and we haven't connected - but damn did it feel good to get the invite, and had I been home a few short blocks away I'd have gone for dinner for sure.

There's a whole lot of love in this world besides that between romantic partners. I think some of you have such blinders on that you don't even notice it in your own lives because it isn't a significant other and thus is insignificant, and that, IMO, is oh-so-wrong.

I was never close to my family, due to how I was treated as a child. Perhaps that's why I was so eager to get into a relationship: I was really desperate to feel loved. To the point of jumping at the chance like an overexcited chihuahua, when a girl showed interest in me for the first time in my life. (More like second time, but the first girl broke a date with me after I told her I didn't have a car.) Even though I didn't find her attractive and was totally bored with her. I just accepted it all as the price I had to pay for feeling loved. Which I didn't even get! She was very unaffectionate through the entire time we dated (2 or 3 months), which makes me question whether she liked me to begin with.

After becoming Red Pilled, I realized that "love", the romantic kind, doesn't really exist. It's either lusting for alpha males, and settling down with for beta males. Which made me realize that being single isn't so bad, considering how I'm not and never will be alpha.

Romantic love absolutely does exist. You’ve just never experienced it.

That's how I respond to anyone who fails to see others as equals, more or less.
