Every single one.

...no, not really =) I'm skimming through the interesting ones, but I'm not expecting to find "the one" in this thread, if that's what you're implying.

In all seriousness, it's cool that everyone seems quite accepting.

Well, since you're putting me on the spot, and I now have to uphold my reputation of prudence. I'd say I am absolutely fine with the concept of marriage, and I am absolutely fine with people who are anti-marriage.

Also I am not sure what the emoji  is supposed to represent

Someone >10 years older?
Someone >10 years younger?
Someone who was "settling" for you?

I sincerely hope not, I have 12 plants in my lounge and it would be a deal breaker.

What are you gonna learn from all of this?

It would have been smarter if you created a survey in one of those free web survey tools and simply post a link to it here; and you get statistics automatically.

Tsk tsk....I bet you're not going to do data entry of all these posts now.

I was thinking of making a spreadsheet charting the results. I’d love to see some of the stupid assumptions about men/ women smashed.

People are going to be ideal in non-anonymous polls. That makes the whole 'study' flawed.

Yes, you have a point. Might set up a poll at some stage. But it’s still interesting seeing what people’s preferences are and why. (Some people have provided why, which is cool).

Rdos? Hello?

Forum polls have too many problems to be interesting in a more scientific way. Would have to put it as a survey in Aspie Quiz in that case.

Someone who is polyamorous? No
Who is "saving it" for marriage? No, he's probably too religious for me
The opposite gender? Yes, I only date men
A trans woman? No
A trans man? No
Is neurotypical? Yes
Has kids? Only if they are still little, but someone with older kids would likely be too old for me anyway.
Doesn't want kids? I'm still indecisive about that.
Living with parents? Yes, as long as he doesn't plan to do so forever
No job (and no benefits)? Only if he's trying to change that and there's a good chance he will manage to.
Long distance? Only if he is willing to eventually move closer. I'm not moving to another country.
Is married? No
Is divorced/widowed? Yes, but divorced would be a red flag (especially at our age)
Is infertile/sterile? Yes
Smokes tobacco? Vapes? Drugs, alcohol, etc? Alcohol yes, if he's not an alcoholic, tobacco and drugs no. If he has tried it that's fine but if he does it regularly then no.

Someone who snores every night? Yes, but we'd sleep in separate bedrooms
Someone >10 years older? No
Someone >10 years younger? No
Someone who was "settling" for you? No
