Yes.

In fact, I once had a crush on a bisexual girl. However, it turned out that she had a girlfriend at the time so we just stayed friends. Oh well, at least I found someone to talk about Harry Potter with. Didn't keep in contact when I started University, but we weren't majorly close. A friend of a friend.

I read a study years ago that the majority of bi guys were secretly gay & didn't want to admit it & that the majority of bi girls were really straight but say their bi because men like it. I'd be very surprised if those things were not true in some cases but I don't think it's the majority like the study claimed

We are NOT talking about something like what happened when a friend of my sister and I had a long term boyfriend suddenly come out of the closet as gay. That can be emotionally devastating.

If someone of the opposite sex is open about being bi from the get go, and its part of the package deal of their personality, I might still be attracted to them ( have been a number of times). I might well go out with them.

I’m not precluding myself from loving a bisexual person. There’s nothing wrong with it.

All I’m saying is that there’s the chance that a bisexual lady might not desire me—but instead desire another women and lose interest in me.

It’s just an irrational fear.

When I dated a bisexual woman, the only difference was that it led to a couple of threesomes with other women. (At least she included me!)

I think it's reasonable to ask for clarification as to whether the person would be monogamous or would the person intend to or leave the possibility open for being polyamorous.

The only bi people I've known of in my life have been women who insisted on having the freedom to be sexual with other women at any whim while forbidding their male partner from being polyamorous. I say I "knew of" the women rather than I "knew" the women because they (two different ones if I recall correctly) were far removed from me (friends of the girlfriends of different roommates of my friends).

I believe in, abide by and also expect monogamy in a relationship.

Heterosexual men will date a bi woman.
Lesbians will date a bi woman.

Heterosexual women will NOT date a bi man.

Personally, I don't care if the girl has had experience with women before. As long as she's truly bi and not a lesbian in denial.

I've only dated three men. Each eventually confided that they were "bi", but promised they intended to be monogamous. Then, each in turn confided more and more about their interest in men. Lo and behold, they all came out as gay and settled into relationships with men. I don't mean to imply that all bi people are in denial about being gay, I'm just sharing my experience.

My (female) heterosexual NT housemate dated a bi Aspie man for a while.
He turned out to be a terrible leech so they broke up, but there was no problem with the sexuality side of it.
It was a monogamous relationship.

Yes, it’s the monogamy that counts. If I am in a sexual relationship with someone I would want to be their only partner. I would not want them to be even (seriously) flirting with someone, same sex or other.

That’d be a deal breaker for me.

I don't think I could ever have a threesome.
I've never been good in crowds.

The thing is, a bi woman is attracted to both sexes and may have fantasies from both, and so I may not be able to fulfill all her desires that only another woman can do it.
That's why I think it's fair to allow a bi girlfriend to have a girlfriend (only one gf! and not another man), it's what I did with a bi ex but I broke up with her because she cheated on me with another man, she was nymphomaniac with no self-control.

Btw in dating sites we see A LOT of bi women with their boyfriend in profile pic and in description "seeking for another woman, no men please", I have never seen "seeking for another man" , so it seems that FFM relationships are by far more common than FMM.

^. For me it’s two people only regardless of sexual orientation.
It’d be cheating regardless if she was with another woman.

No I wouldn't. There are just too many risks involved with it.
