Ante, I'm with you on privatisation being the root of the "underclass's" problem. The Thatcher Revolution of the 80's did more to destroy society than anything else.
If the NHS was more equipt when I was a child, I would have been diagnosed sooner, and got the help I needed. As it was, it was a Tory government, and research into Autism in the 80's was nill. It wasn't until 2003 (well into a Labour administration) that my condition was picked up.
However, do try to be positive. Get involved with your local branch of a political party of your choice, and start to 'return fire' on the Tories in whatever way you can. If your psychiatrist is any good, he will be suggesting you do this as well, that is if the political situation is the root of your depression.
