so:-
baldies in denial...if it ain't growing, cut it short, a ponytail doesn't compensate for a shiny pate

sorry....it's saturday eve, my mind is wandering down paths I should probably leave well alone

Hmm.. I'm not exactly sure why, but that stuff just stands out to me as being great criteria. However, I must admit that's possibly because I happen to be the opposite of all of the 'dealbreaking' ones and match all of the good ones.

Personally, I find extreme or obviously intentional ditsy/bubbliness to me extremely phony and a huge turnoff. I was once at a gathering where one girl was walking around acting like this, tripping over her own feet seemingly on purpose just so she could stumble into the guys and touch them. She did this near me and ended up grabbing my wrist... Quite unexpectedly, at this sensation I felt something that I can only describe as walking the line between extreme annoyance and outright rage. I'm pretty Holden Caulfield-esque when it comes to liking honesty/disliking deceitfulness.

Beyond that, though, I have to admit with some embarrassment I haven't had enough romantic/potentially romantic contact with females to really know if there's anything that just turns me off. I would imagine that there isn't much I couldn't get past... Other than a few serious issues in personality or outlook such as the ones mentioned above (extreme religiousness/closed-mindedness, etc.) I can look past practically anything little if there's some substance there. I have one really shallow criteria in that I don't like overweight girls... I know that a lot of guys are obviously like this but I think for me it's an even bigger problem. I simply can't bring myself to feel any physical attraction towards a girl that is too big. There *is* some wiggle room but I am aware of some arbitrary threshold at which I simply feel no interest at all.

Hmm I gotta say that stupidity is a big issue with me, I cannot stand nor respect a stupid person. And to be honest, it's not even if someone just doesn't know a lot of things... in fact low intelligence but high curiosity and interest in learning is awesome. The main thing is that if you sound stupid and think it's cute, I don't want to be around you.

Another thing is a disproportionate body. Some chub is fine by me, (but not too much -- I'm a skinny guy myself and I'd rather not be broken :P), but it's gotta be proportional.

Hefty amounts of make-up (I prefer very little to no make-up) is bad, too.
Ridiculous hair style and\or ridiculous hair colors (I'm looking at you scene girls).
Sexual promiscuity (Sex is a meaningful thing to me, not just for fun).
Texting all day every day, GAWD I HATE THAT (wow, I rarely use caps).

And lastly, but not leastly :P, long fingernails. I don't know why, but they are my weirdest turn-off methinks. I'll still consider dating a girl that texts all day, is promiscuous, scene girl hair, and loads of makeup (tho i might not respect her very much), but I won't go near you if you have long fingernails.

EDIT: A last note, a girl being pro-life and being creationist are very different for me. Even though creationist beliefs can be fixed and pro-life often cannot, I'd much rather date a pro-lifer solid in their beliefs than a creationist who won't budge. Pro-life comes down to personal feelings, which I wouldn't wish to change, but a simple demonstration can prove creationism false unequivocally. In order to remain creationist at that point, you have to be close minded to such a degree that I wouldn't be able to hold a decent conversation with you anyway.
