I've never heard of the Vienna Circle before. I'll see what I can find.
Oh, look, we're way off topic again!

Not really off topic. For a while, the people on the panel I mentioned were very much "soulmates."

The breakup, especially, of Freud and Jung, was very much like a breakup of lovers--even though they weren't actually lovers.

Jung appeals strongly to people who are of a "spiritual" bent.

He appeals to me, despite my lack of a "spiritual" side to me.

^That's interesting. I never thought about it like that before. My mum's doctor in Toronto is actually a lot like Jung.

Jungian therapy definitely encourages creativity.

You should read something called "Dibs, in Search of Self." There's lots of art therapy in that work. Art therapy is pretty Jungian.

Dibs was a kid from either the 1950s or early 1960s (I'm not quite sure). The book was written in the mid 1960s. That kid would, most likely, be diagnosed with Asperger's/HFA if he were assessed now.

He made lots of progress through the art therapy.

I looooove Art! If I were a Greek immortal, I would probably be a Muse!

You should read up on Muses, on Furies, and on Sirens. Also: Satyrs.

Many literary figures--but especially before the 20th century--used Muses quite a bit in their writing.

Basically, for a time, it was thought that a writer required either a Muse or God to enable them to produce his/her work.

^Yeah, I know. I know all about them because I've been reading mythology ever since I was quite young!

Yep....Hel, to me, seem like a place similar to a sort of "place of the dead, of memories" which was depicted in Virgil's [i]Aeneid[i]

Hel is also the name of the Norse goddess of death. Have you ever read Rosemary Suttcliff's lovely retelling of the Aeneid and the Odyssey [with amazing pictures by Alan Lee]?
