True that, same when it comes to hairy men (those who like smooth are way louder).

Girls avoid talking about any "recto" tastes because they don't want o be thought as weird or recto by peers.

I mean, look at Ladywood, she has been the noisest girl in WP history.

Someone should remind Ladywood that full nudity is against the rules.

He looks like Monica's boyfriend at some episodes in Friends. l read that actor was really famous and people cheered when he went on-set way too much so they had to film his appearances again by separate. Maybe it's him.

I can't see why you would find Sean Connery attractive and not this one.

No really, what point is he attempting to make ?

I don't think anybody was saying that we expect non-professional guys to all be spending 5 hours in the gym each day in order to look like professionals.... we were actually saying the opposite.

So...... what's with the frustrated meme ?

According to Google...
Recto (noun) :
"A right-hand page of an open book, or the front of a loose document."

So.... women who like the front of loose documents and the right hand side of a book.... don't mention it in case their peers think it's a bit weird or see their paper-side preferences for what they are ?

 How does that even relate to this discussion ?
I think most people prefer the front of a loose document anyway, since most documents are printed on only one side ; so that's the side which is most interesting, and likely to convey information.

As for book side preference, it depends.
If I'm lying on my side while reading, then it changes depending on which way I face... but I have no specific preference for book side when reading sitting down.

Ah yes :-D is that the classic "women should be seen and not heard" attitude, I see coming out there ?
Or just hypocrisy, given the sheer number of posts you've made compared to my humble quantity ?

It is ?
:-) Well, he's not nude anyway.
He's clearly wearing gloves, knee-pads and some bits of string.

His eyes and that accent might have something to do with that. Connery always has gravitas, while Selleck is just an average Joe.

I've been trying to post some of these comments to WP for ages but it keeps glitching up ; which is why I'm posting so many in a row.
This one has been backed up since yesterday, for example :

ETA : and even now it won't post unless I disable smilies and BBCode - so, apologies for the ugly formatting.

[quote="MR_BOGAN"]Oh my mistake I thought that was chocolate cake poisoning. :P

But you see the point. Say if Alex does everything naturally like you say, it's a very hard, well almost impossible beauty standard for us guys to live up to. Like it must require a hell of a lot of work to get where he is.

Sure women are judged on beauty standards really harshly, but comparing an attractive woman to an attractive man. The attractive man has to work hard to build up muscles and the woman doesn't because female beauty has nothing to do with having big muscles.

Like you say Alex's body isn't steroided, which I believe you. but it would be really hard to get it.

I'm not sure what your ideal is, but you seem to like men with big muscles and I believe most women do. You probably would give me an honest answer on your ideal.[/quote]

:-D haha ! No problem, it's an easy mistake to make.
I have no idea what that stuff is made from, so for all I know it could be made from chocolate cake.

Many women have to work hard to keep their weight down, in order to seem attractive.
And often, whatever they do they are simply the wrong body-type to ever match a media-portrayed "ideal".
Similarly, many guys would need to work their arses off at the gym in order to end up buff like a lot of models etc. , but really any woman who only wants to be with that sort of guy (or who puts pressure on average blokes to look like that) is probably a superficial numpty who “normal” guys would be well advised to steer clear of anyway.

I'm not sure that I understand your question about an "ideal" ... I cast my net wide though, as far as who I would consider to be "hot".

This guy, for example, I would be happy to have a theoretical go on -
[img]http://www2.ohba.co.jp/salamand/images/cast_tamayama.jpg[/img]

And mmm mm James Wong could rummage in my undergrowth any day !
[img]http://secretseedsociety.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/03/plthumb_James_Wong_13_CJM014473.jpg[/img]

As far as ideals go, I’d far rather be with a bloke who has a good physique due to actual normal activity (such as gardening, as is the case with James Wong) than a more muscle-bound buff-boy gym fanatic, that’s for sure !

To begin with, neither me or my mum could even discern whether we found a guy "hot" based purely on looks.... because of personality being the primary defining factor for "hotness" to us.
I think it was only a few years ago that I realised there were people choosing relationship (and even marriage) partners purely based on how they look... who are equally as confused by me doing anything different from that.

But when I went out with that body building bloke, he was a bit of a cheeky monkey and kept asking me whether this or that guy was hot (it was an innocent fun game, he would do the same with celebrity women or whatever - and it never bothered either of us. He does the same with his mum for the same reason) because it's kind of a fun thing to do.... and it kind of went from there.

If it's okay to ask.... what on earth do people who fantasise about celebrities actually think about ?
Do people who do that imagine them with a personality like a likeable character which they portray on TV ?
Or read interviews and if you like their personality and how they look, just kind of think about those together somehow ?
Or just kind of imagine various body parts ?
I'm not trying to be obtuse, I just... I don't "get it".
