What does that have to do with the OP? :?

LC: maybe you should try to make friends only with gay guys, problem solved :wink:

I have already suggested that to her. :wink:

Great minds... :wink:

Of course you do :hail:

It's actually a pretty good idea anyway, I remember that at least in my youth the gay community was more welcoming of outliers and outsiders even if they were straight.

I reasoned that they went through so much hardship themselves that they had more compassion for others who were being abused by this fakakta NT society.

I always try to see the POV of others who are different, and to defend the underdog where possible. After all, I'm in at least three minority groups - gay, Aspie and left handed.

There was a time when left handedness seems to have been equated with some kind of evil deviation - literally "sinister"! Luckily by the time I was growing up it was acceptable - more so than the other things.

@QAE

Everyone has their preferences and aversions. The question is what is appropriate to share on a forum? I'll stop here as this discussion belongs on a free speech thread

We have a "Free Speach" thread?
Seriously,
I'm interested where I can find it.

Or were you just making a point?

I mean a thread created about free speech

Free speech on WP? It doesn’t, nor ever will, exist! lol

The nature of any online forum that is owned by one or more individuals is that person or group controls the narrative. If I were the site owner, I would only tolerate just so much myself. Don’t like it? Create your own website.

I mean a discussion about free speech

Es ist leicht, manche Menschen zu beleidigen.
Ich bin nicht leicht zu beleidigen, wie Sie festgestellt haben.

It is easy to offend some people.
I'm not easily offended, as you have discovered. :wink:

You are into gays? I'm not as homophobic. Lesbians are OK. Anybody has to know himself what he likes or dislikes. Am I wrong with this?

^^ Some of this content is inappropriate, given that we have all kinds of members here including kids and younger teenagers.

You are right. I was very hard and merciless direct. Didn't keep in mind that a forum should be fun for the members.

Hahaha the "drones" :D

I love your post.

Thank you LC! Reading what you write is almost like I am writing it myself. I am pretty sure you are the same cognitive type as me. I thought of several things I do that inevitably gets me in trouble with women.

1. Have you heard the song "Human Behavior" by Bjork? (she is the same type as me). I get wrapped up in the exchange of "Human Behavior". I love being appreciated and I can be way too "effusive" back. This sometimes is confusing to the person on the other side of the relationship. I would love just to be open and myself... no between the lines with me. That desire gets me in trouble.

2. I don't look in eyes unless I find someone interesting. This is evidently seductive. I call this "animaling". Basically people of our type are "more animal than human".

Most aspies don't have the hardware (certain mirror neurons) for learning culture (forming the TOM). Most ADDers have that hardware (can build the TOM) but don't have the hardware to run culture (TOM) properly (too little pre-frontal white matter). We don't have either... and that balances out in some strange way. We look very normal so people think what we are doing maps into some kind of non-verbal communication. The way we look into eyes turns people on and can confuse them.

I was "animaled" about a year ago by a woman your age who is ECUS. It is a real kick in the pants when it happens to me. I think it must be crazy for culturals (NTs).

Another thing I have noticed about our type is that we tend to have very symmetrical faces (we are good looking to most people).

All the women I know that are my type and are somewhat somatic have men following them, falling for them... etc...

They all animal men like crazy too, lol. I think it is part of being a drone :)

Actually ECU is kind of a super drone. :lol:

Warum spricht fast alle hier Deutch? Schade das ich mein Deutsch verlernt habe :(

C = Cultural (NT), EC = Extra-Cultural (ASD)
U = understanding ~ ADD/ADHD
A = acceptance ~ baseline, normal
T = trust ~ possible schizotypal disorder
R = respect ~ NPD
C = cerebral (adrenaline averse), S = somatic (adrenaline seeking)

I am ECUC/S (cusp cerebral/somatic)
