I think it's sad that there's so many lonely hearts out there and then there's people like me who doesn't want or need much love and I've had no shortage of offers in my life (I don't mean to blow my own trumpet when I say that BTW)

Seems a bit f****d up to me...but there might be a lesson in there somewhere

I think it depends on what exactly you're trying to change.

If you're trying to change them into someone who doesn't wipe boogers on the couch cushions, that's probably reasonable.

If you're trying to change them into an extreme extrovert, that might be more like what you're describing.
