No sane girl would want an abuser , jerk , beater, drunk.... those are granted.

The thread would be more interesting and more parallel to its counterpart if it was "What type of man do you want?"

a guy:
that takes longer than me to get himself together each day
that i keep catching him looking in mirrors or windows at himself
that is not better at fixing things than me...
that doesn't rise to a challenge
that isn't tenacious enough to stick with something to figure it out
that doesn't like to do manual work or get dirty

(i like dumb guys that work hard, play sports, hang out with other guys...I'm smart enough for both of us) (omg that is awful, but true)

Why would it be so important to someone else that i was ambitious? I've never gotten that. I can understand someone being ambitiious, it's foisting their values on someone else that i dont get. I think that it's status and money.
