I am myself autistic and to be honest I never expressed hate towards any one particular person or group of people: I was just sharing my viewpoint, which if you think about it has fairly obvious roots in what I've observed around me. And it wasn't self-centred: I'm sorry, but how can something that has absolutely nothing to do with me at all be self-centred?
Honestly, you're taking all this too seriously, and really, you just need to chill.

So your aspie (supposedly) and this has nothing to do with you? You just said if you haven't gotten laid by the age of 40 your a looser. Certainly either your a looser, in danger of becoming a looser, or have feared becoming a looser then?

If I am it doesn't matter to me. Besides, this topic isn't about autistics: It's about losers. There isn't necessarily a parallel, and, like I said, if you don't get laid by forty, it's not because you're autistic, it's because you're a loser.
The fact that you noticed any such parallel doesn't say anything about autistics: What it says something about is your own self-esteem.

Yupa, there is NO WAY your autistic.... Either that or your lying to yourself. For an aspie man to get a date is like winning the lottery. It don't matter how much you try to learn to act NT, your still an aspie. You will stem somewhere without knowing it. Because your trying to be something your not.

Not really. I'm not NT, I haven't learned to act NT and I don't plan on it.
I'm just out to get a date and prove the haters wrong. My love-shyness is kind of a hindrance, but I'm confident that I can easily get over that.

About three or four times with the same person (and one with another person earlier on, but that's not worth mentioning). I haven't dated since because I felt like dating anyone else would be disloyalty, even though I and the aforementioned person had decided to call off our relatioship. This was a person I just couldn't get out of my head and struggled to get over. After which I came out a changed man. I think that whole thing pretty much explains itself.

That's exactly what I was thinking at the age of 22, when I was still a virgin. I was, literally, in danger of becoming a loser. The odds of a girl liking me were as good as winning a lottery. I was browsing travel sites to book a trip to Amsterdam, when I discovered escorts in my own city. I researched it, set up an appointment, and was on my way to get initiated into not being a loser. I kept going back ever since, and the girls in the agency I use seem pleased to see a client who's close to their age.

I agree, that whole thing pretty much explains itself, like why you think it's cool to compound other people's pain. Don't give me this "just stating the facts" s**t. That's code for "hurting you makes me feel superior."

Lemme see if I got this right. You're not dating because you don't want to be disloyal to somebody who threw you in the garbage. I guess that's your idea of a winner. However you changed, I think you should change back. And please don't insult human males by calling yourself a "man."

And what's with this "person" s**t? You too stupid to know the gender of the people you're going out with, or do you think that being a worm and using gender-neutral language to suck up to butch the feminist is going to make you less of a loser.

I would describe you as a piece of s**t, but s**t has some value.

Well thank you buddy for your advice...

it seems that some people in this forum pretend to be autistics or self-misdiagnosed as autistics/aspies.....
I might be wrong tho.

You seem to be letting anger control your life. You do know it's possible to insult someone without saying "you're a piece of s**t," (Are you aware just how many times you used that in the above post? It seems you have it on the brain), "I hate you", etc.?
And I was using gender-neutral language, because, guess what? I was dating a guy, but I really didn't want to admit it.. As for being "a man", I do often wish I were female, but regardless. And this person didn't throw me in the garbage, per se. He moved away so we both decided that it was kind of inconvenient to continue pursuing a relationship.

I've been officially diagnosed by an actual psychiatrist, so, as they say in a lot of cases, "If you've met one aspie, you've met one aspie." We don't all fit into one particular stereotype. Has it never occured to you that some of us observe *absolutely everything* (not just things happening around us, but ourselves as well) from an outsider's standpoint?
