Should asexual people demand protection from discrimination?

Culturally, I can't see how it's much of a problem.
It's not obvious from a person's presentation (mannerisms, aesthetics, etc)
nor is it obvious in their relationships (and who they choose for those relationships).

The only place where I could see it being discriminated against is by a few outdated, mostly Freudian psychiatrists.
