Not directed at you, but at the women pointing out " Those are fake, anyway." I agree with you, actually. I would guess most models are beneath the healthy body weight percentage of 21-33%.

Good, you're medical wary.

Then you should know that most six-pack male models have fat levels beneath the healthy limit of 10% or even 8%.

I understand that. I honestly don't mind guys with some meat on them. If someone is taking the time/effort to demonstrate a six pack, I'm not going to say OMG that's disgusting because it can be pretty hot. That said, the few six packs I've seen IRL, made me want to say "Here's a sandwich, please eat something."

I got a six pack, and no I don't use steriods, I just run and do alot of abs work.

Very rarely do you see women with less than 18% (roughly equal to 12% bodyfat in men) bodyfat in Hollywood; contrary to popular belief, men do not want anorectic fashion models.

I think there is a double standard. In that women go for the alpha, so someone that has huge muscles and stands out from the rest is more attractive. That is why this extreme is coming in. It's what all female species do, it's biological. If all men had huge muscles it wouldn't suprise me that they would just want more. Not sure on this, I think I'm right though. Because to me body builders look like freaks and abnormal.

Sure women can have a hard time with weight. But you see there is a limit for the perfect female body, once a woman is there she can't go any further. What I find disturbing is that women like these freaky muscled bodies, doesn't seem there is a limit.

I actually think women are not aware of this.

True, I dunno why the example of anorexic fashion models is always brought up is justification for women liking steroid bulls, it's simply not a true equivalent: the anorexic type is demanded only by the fashion industry, an industry controlled mostly by gay men and women, it's not what straight men want.
Men like curves, some meat on the female body, the fashion model isn't like that.
However a large % of womenfolk DO love the steroid-type. The popularity of such body type among women is way higher than the popularity of anotexic type among men - honestly I don't know a single straight man who likes a such body type.

Lol. A lot of men do like the excessively dieted, implant, lip injection woman, so yes there will be woman out there who are attracted to fake looking men too. Although, I really am not attracted to muscles that big. Too me, I feel scared of the man if he looks too strong. A healthy muscle tone attained from the gym and looks healthy is fine. I have been attracted to all types of men, from pretty overweight, toned, to very skinny. I have always found the most physically attractive thing on a man is his face anyway, and obviously his personality. To me, I am pretty picky on a guys personality, but I do not have a "type" physically.

I think you you are lying.

Why doesn't he look hot rather than fine?? Sounds like you prefer more than this.

We are not talking about the face and other attributes. How is one physically attracted to something that isn't physical like personality?

lol Bogan, you were never that bitter, what happened?

I think it's unfair to call her liar, I know a lot of women who don't like the steroid-type, however those who like them are like the largest minority (but it seems like a majority to me on wp for some reason).

I think the steroid-type admirers are just louder than others because it's the "trendy" preference, it goes more with the flow and it's more socially expected.

Like the hairiness thing, girls who like smooth chest are louder to say it than others while those who like hairy men are less likely to admit it fearing they might be viewed as retro or something by their peers - it's crazy, but only after I started online dating I've realized there are way more girls than I thought who like hairy men, it's a silent majority.

I don't know, all I know is the guy I really like right now is overweight. I like him, and I find him very attractive, maybe I am in the minority for this, but I can't help what I'm attracted to and what I'm not attracted to.

And about the anorexic supermodels, I put perfect body in quotation marks, by suggesting many woman feel they need to look like this in order to be attractive to men, but it's not necessarily true, the same goes for men who feel they need to bulk up to be the most attractive.

Actually, some recent study had women preferring men with close cut beards over clean shaven. It was mustaches getting the big thumbs down.

Every time I've grown a beard, I like it, but I think I get negative reaction.

I had a mo once, when I was out and about some guys would see it and give me a hand shake. I was in a shop once with the mo and then another time without the mo. When I didn't have the mo, the girl shopkeeper came up to me and told me I looked better without the mo. She might have been trying to hint something.
That concludes my mo adventures. So I agree with you on the mo.

Like I said before, this is new thread material. :chin:

You are calling him overweight so to me that means he is less attractive, otherwise you would say it. But overall you like him and find him attractive and the overweight thing doesn't bother you, you see beyond that. No you are not in the minority, that's how most women think.
