Men have the exact same criterion.

I think you want to avoid a woman that is going to show you off to her friends, she will likely be superficial.

But also you don't want to embarrass her infront of her friends either, you should make an effort to try and get on with them and respect them.

I couldn't care less what friends or family think, it only matters what I think.

I suspect both male and female aspies are less likely to care what others think about their romantic partners.

Woman are really bad with fashion, image etc, so they may be worse in this regard.

You're right about women being into fashion and image. However, men are really into women being "hot", so THEY may be worse in this regard.

Woman are more into trying to look hot themselves, for there own image.

Everybody has there standards at some point. I'm not sure on that, you might find that most men are not that fussy as they are made out to be.

Depends on the man, I know that. Just like it depends on the woman! ;)

OK.

I just get outraged when I see many threads dissing women so much in the Love and Dating forum.

That's simply because AS guys have a more difficult time than the girls in this department... I don't care what you say, it's true.

OK Space calm down you look like you're about to hit me. :|

The idea of 'women' as an amorphous mass who's every quality can be quantified, is dangerous and non-productive...;) For every example, there is an equal and opposite counter-example

I think women are everywhere in terms of personality, judgement, and any other qualities you'd consider. The problem for many guys is that they want a foolproof method to get them in the sack, and have some companionship. There is no one 'solution'.

There are some women like that (or Cosmo would have gone out of business years ago...always wanted to meet a Cosmo 'girl'...;). Some women think with the 'wrong end', some with their minds. Just like guys.

Some want rich guys, some want poor ones. Some want this or that feature (sorry guys, but from what I've heard, the one you think most important is way down the list....but still on it...;) Some have weird fetishes, or desires, some are pretty straightlaced...;) It all reminds me of a (well, sexist) song called '88 lines about 44 women' (aspie that I am, it's actually 89 lines about 44 women; one gets 3 lines...Catherine...;)

The real trick is to learn about the one woman you're looking at. Many times, you've been chosen before you do the choosing. Each woman is unique, with different likes and dislikes, and learning about each other is the best way to have success (not just lust, but love as well). Pity I'm now too old (and too married) to use those heartfelt facts...;)

^Agree....I think many people make general misconceptions by much media that often depict each gender as this or that.

There's a whole other world out there that doesn't fit into these tight definitions of how superficial one gender is to another. So I wouldn't really rely heavily on media and magazines if you're really wanting to know about these gender wars.

Used to like comsmo but don't anymoe.....it's changed so much in such short notice. :?
