this is very true. People find me interesting when they first meet me but not for long! I tend to do the same conversations again and again, like a set piece. I have little speaches that are set of when people say certain topics.

If I ever see you around, I'll be sure to ask you about it :)

So, umm... what do you think of Battlestar Galactica? Mind you I haven't seen much of the revived series, but still...

Sometimes I think I'm boring, even though I talk about things I like.

Sometimes one of my friends says to me;

"You're so normal. There's nothing special about you."

and it makes me feel like there's nothing interesting about me. You can't let it get to you, you can't let yourself or other people make you think you're run of the mill, plain old normal. I don't believe anyone is truly "normal". I believe there is something unique and interesting in everybody, and what defines the interesting people from the uninteresting people is their choice to share those unique parts of themselves with other people or not.

I have no idea. But, it seems more interesting than talking about the neighbors or the weather.
If you came up to me and said all nerdy like, "Mr. Spock was very introspective in his thought process of how he commanded the ship to stay on course of the genocide program to instill robotic mechanisms in romantic conquests."

I'd be like, Huh, what?

But, umm... that's Star Trek, something I know way too much about...

And Spock didn't put robotic mechanisms in romantic conquests, he had this big emotional buildup every 7 years which is the vulcan time of mating...

Ok you can take that confused look off your face now. I'm just illustrating a "be careful what you wish for" point...

OP is right.

TBH, I find dating a minor obstacle, now and later in life, because I simply wont try. I just dont care anymore.

EDIT: Just saw after I posted this how off-topic this thread is!

I wonder how intrigued someone would be if I did my little song and dance about South Park.
