Well, apparently I would be 'stalking' her by just being her friend. Either way, it doesn't matter to me. I like her either of the two ways: girlfriend/signifigant other or best friend/good acquaintance. Currently, I'm in the latter zone. That's fine with me. I just like being around her because she's cool and I like her a lot. She doesn't like me because I'm wierd and I'm autistic and that sucks. I wish I was normal, but that won't change it.
...confusion!
Does *she* think of *you* as a friend? If so, should shouldn't care about the autism. She might not be attracted to you for other reasons. Try for her a little more maybe, and then move on. Then maybe if you start asking her help on how to pick up some other woman, she'll decide she likes you or something goofy. :P :P
But you gained something from asking: you know the truth and you've saved your time. sure you can try to change her mind in subtle ways, but...
I've spent years obsessing over someone because I was to scared to ask. (Because they would have turned me down, presumably.) Why bother? Move on.
