I mean but he does. He has some daydreaming from now and then of a world, where houseworking robots already exist, where you have flying cars to fly to work, where you can have holidays on mars and can heal cancer with pills. We all have those dreaming moments. But then he comes back, and he has only eyes for me and thats wonderful. :)

Same thing with me, as boo pointed out with all the comments on that link I put there. But like I said before I think it's an alpha thing, if all guys looked like that there would be another beauty standard.
Have not read what that guy posted, but there simply are no guys looking like that. Not even the guy himself looks like that, without painting and computer. ^^ I can only tell you the same stuff, as I do to female friends, when they are again starting with "Oh god, I look so horrbile, I have 1 pound too much on my hips, and my belly creates rolls, when I lean forward..." I tell them simply to go into a public bath and compare themselves with that real existing woman there, not with computerized, photo shopped, shadowed, professional photographed pictures of celebrities. Its the same thing I do. In comparison to unreal celebrity photos I am a gringe and should hide beneath a mountain like gollum. In comparison to real existing people in saunas around here, everything is absolutely fine.

You simply must start to ignore, things that are not real. And start to ignore people, that are lost in their phantasy dreams and want to push that expectations on you. Dont you think there are as well lots of boys, having dumb expectations on me, that I have to feel the need to decorate their rooms when entering? Or to wear certainly damaging idiot shoes, only because of them pushing my ass and breasts, as if that was my duty in life, for that I was born from my mother: So that foreign people can decorate their every-day life with my pushed ass and breasts? ^^

Say you had men holding up women that were bone thin anorexic as the most beautiful in the world.
That is kind of what women are doing to us on the ripped look, like you have to do an insane amount of work in the gym, (looks like taking drugs, etc) and then starve yourself to show your abs and muscles drop body fat.
My sister was anorexic. I dont see anything to get jealous about having an serious illness. Its as if I was jealous on someone having cancer. And I think people, that are into adoring ill people, are to ignore. How would you treat someone telling you, that he gets sexually stimulated by the look of children with amputated limbs? If someone expects you to get sick, to receive a certain look as everyday person, then simply treat her exactly that way.

I think men have it a bit better, because you have more "traditional" possibilities to be attractive for an relationship. So you can try to be sexy, but there are as well guys that are ugly as hell and still get lots of girls because of them being rich as example. So you can choose more stuff, that you want to be appreciated for. If you do well in job, and have a good income, then this is appreciated by many, so this rises your sex appeal as well. While when I did good in my job, I only got blamed for working too much and not caring enough for housework and for my external appearance. But the brother in law, working outside the country half of the time, so not being able to support his family at home "Oh, he is so successful! And he works so hard. No his wife has to accept and appreciate that, because he is doing that for her and the children." *puke*

I actually happy comparing myself to fantasy men. I just like to know where I fit in the scheme of things. Women judge me against fantasy men. So it really is a reality.

I'm sorry your sister was anorexic. I posted a pic of a steroid guy who died at 22 from a heart attack early in the thread. I'm not jealous I'm just trying to compare it to soemthing.

I think it is horrible to be judged on how much money you make. It's like being attracted to money, rather than you.

MjrMajorMajor well I don't actually believe you are being truthful.

I saw you post that you thought Joe Manganiello had the greatest body. Is he roided? I don't know, but he is a body builder and is super ripped. So going with that, I'd say you like the gerald butler 300 movie body the best.

http://www.celebitchy.com/301261/joe_ma ... ss_or_hot/

Also strange how ladywoofwoof went from posting body builders to feminine asian men.

Anyway interesting thread. I actually didn't know all this stuff and I am really suspect about ripped male actors now.

1. Joe Manganiello was one example, and if you read what I wrote I said I preferred him not ridiculously ripped.

2. Don't ever call me dishonest, or presume you know my opinions/tastes better than myself. I may joke, and I may exaggerate, but I know my own d#mn mind thank you.

I like natural looking people.I don't want a man on steroids,or some really extreme athlete.I would assume they would want me to be the same way.Don't steroids shrink a man's weenie?I always think of the two body builders guys on Little Britain.

Sorry if that makes you angry, but that is my opinion from what I've read, I can't see how I can think otherwise, Like I also saw you comment on the bodybuilding member here, who has a ripped body. .The whole thread is ridiculous boo has a point and none of you guys admit it, you are just arguing and attacking him all the way. Like it could have been a normal discussion. I think I've probably made you look stupid with the Gerald Butler thing and that is why you are angry, but you really brought it on yourself.

1. You called me a liar. That tends to p#ss me off for some strange reason, and I read it as a personal attack.

2.Yes I complemented said member, because he did look good in his pics. That doesn't mean that's the only type of guy I'll ever find attractive. He also comes across as a reasonable and devoted guy, so I really don't like his example popping up again and again. It's a very shallow preoccupation there.

3.What makes many posters look stupid in many threads, is ignoring the information freely given by female members about women, and presuming to know better than the females themselves. Some of these same posters later bemoan their single status, and wonder why they can't find a decent relationship. Pretty dumb, huh?

I think it is horrible to be judged on how much money you make. It's like being attracted to money, rather than you.

I didnt want to be appreciated exactly for the money. But my partner was still studying around that time, so I needed to at least earn enough for us both, and additionaly we needed money for our house, that was a ruin then. I was fed up, that people were absolutly not willing to understand, that this costed me lots of efforts, during summer (I work in a construction company.) I worked 12-14hours a day and I sometimes only had every two to three weeks a free day. And on that one day, I was forced to visit relatives, because I was blamed to have them "ignored so much around the last time." While if the sister in law, tells that she would like her husband to be more with her, she was the one getting blamed, because of not appreciating his effort. Because of him being a man, he was "working so hard" which was so totally to be appreciated, but because of me being a woman I was "ignoring the needs of my relatives to be comforted by me, by visiting them", and "not enough caring for my partner." So working 12-14 hours a day, with nearly no free day, for about three months, was worth nothing, while "Oh...look at female cousin, that works halftime and wastes her time on the flowers in the garden. She bought herself a dress with the money her husband earns, went to a hairdresser - paying with the money her husband earns, bought some jewelries her husband had payed...so did in the nothing absolutly nothing that needed effort of her...so come on, lets all appreciate how much effort she takes for family...Schneekugel, why cant you show some effort sometimes?" *pukepukepukepuke* Specially when it comes from a woman, whose only effort was getting married to a rich man, and then getting divorced from him. -.-

The thing why that threads makes me so aggressive a bit, because its about blaming, that physical attractiveness also can be important for the appearance of a men. While from my side I would be so lucky for that, because for about 90% of population beyond the age of 40, physical attractiveness is still the absolute only thing, that you deserve to be appreciated as a woman. Everything else, anyway how much effort it costs you, is meaningless. So you dont even have other possibilities. I would die, to get the ability to choose between different things I was allowed to focus. And then people blame around, because of it being an optional task for their sex. -.-

Yeah Schneekugel you need to put in more effort. :P J/K

I don't really understand what you have written, but I think I sort of get it. I think if you blame and claim victim status that clouds your judgement. If that is what you mean.

Hey you shouldn't get offended. To me you seem to like big buff guys as your preference, yeah I see what you wrote about the ripped thing with Joe. But you seem to like guys with muscles. Maybe I do know more about your preferences better than you. Glow posted a big muscled ripped guy in the mens greatest body, then posted Stallone(which I'm sure he is a classic roids guy) and claimed she didn't like roids men.

But it doesn't really matter what you think and using you as an example. All you have to do is look at the comments in here about women liking roids guys.
http://www.celebitchy.com/301261/joe_ma ... ss_or_hot/

What I don't get is all this defensiveness, sure it makes women look bad. But I mean I like beautiful women and will freely admit it. Same as women like muscle men. It's biological you can't help what you find attractive.

By shallow preoccupation do you mean body building itself? I think you mean using him as an example.

Yes I'm sure that nice guy threads will continue to rage on and on here till the end of time. :P

Actually if you read through them all it's more like the majority don't like him. It's really mixed. Some comments think he is amazing but a lot are not impressed.

Actually I didn't can you a liar and no it wasn't a personal attact.

You asked for evidence of your example liking roids guys. I tried to give you some with what you wrote:shrug:

You said you didn't prefer Gerald Butler in the 300 movie when he was probably in the best shape of his life.
You posted elsewhere a ripped guy that you thought was the greatest, yes I agree you said you didn't like him overly ripped. Then you posted a compliment to the body builder member that had thunder bolt pearced nipples  , but he had really low body fat, where you didn't compliment any other members. You seem to contradict yourself.

I stated why I thought you were not being truthful(to me things just didn't add up), that is different to straight out calling you a liar.
You didn't really respond to what I said you have just become dismissive of me. But sorry you did ask for evidence.

I feel I need to state this because you are making accusations against me. Also I think you have something against me now which is a pity..

Semantics. I'll respond once more, but it's really stupid arguing about my personal preferences. Why don't I complement other posters on that thread? Because a lot of them are quite a bit younger than myself, and I don't view them in that capacity. The one that caught my attention was more age appropriate. You're basing the rest of your judgement on three? pictures that I've posted, while ignoring other examples I've offered.
Bygones, end of argument, stalemate, whatever.
