Among men, there's so much denial to admit that men's looks matters a lot for heterosexual dating; by matters I mean the number of potential candidates increase greatly.

They tend to claim that ONLY what it takes is a good personality, and being interesting, clean...etc the usual common sense stuff.
Yet, they deny big time that innate looks (things one can't change just by being clean or fit) matters. And this claim ALWAYS comes from very HANDSOME men.
I was having a conversation with a guy buddy the other day, and he claims that before he gets married he could get almost ANY woman just being charming (hyperbolic claim).

He was like "If I can do this then ANYONE can do it" and he literally said "Looks wise I am just 6/10 at most".

Thing is, the guy is objectively handsome but he is denying it; he is an owner of a good company and entrepreneurs (if they happen not to be among the 95% who fail) often have this nauseous positivity in their character, they are always like "anyone can succeed" kind of things.

I have tried occasionally to say this for years.

Good news. No breakup. When she backed out, I agreed immediately, but I was surprised that she backed out so quickly.

Nice! I’m glad it worked out.

Why the f*** so many BDSMers keep shaming "vanilla sex" , yet they cry when someone questions their digusting practices?

So unreal and hypocritical beyond belief.

I wonder why some people get all serious in a relationship and some people would rather keep it more casual

I'm wondering if it's a good idea to keep your options open

When I was younger I used to think that I had to be in a relationship because everyone else is in one

I don't think like that anymore

I think this is a healthy progression of your mindset.

I meant that your current mindset is an improvement over your old one - you don't think that you need a relationship anymore like everyone else.
