I agree with the other posters that have said she's calling you out, here. I'm guessing she senses that the other girl is who you really want, and by asking you to defriend her, what she's really asking you is to make her number one. Sounds like she's coming from a place of fear and insecurity, and that's never pretty nor does it feel good. It makes people act grabby and controlling.
