not really you wouldn't date a man with a low IQ so what is your point ?
while i appreciate you siding with me it's not even an equal comparison. low iq is something you can't change while obesity is.

Nope.
Weight is an amalgamation of factors, including but not limited to genetics, environmental endocrine disruptors, underlying medical conditions, medications, access to healthy foods and physical/environmental ability to exercise, not to mention race, socioeconomic class status, and more.
But all that's irrelevant- your implication is that someone should objectively WANT to lose weight.
If you do, that's fine- get out there and lose it, and stop telling people they're not worthy of love if they don't.

I've dated several men less-intelligent than me, and so long as they were willing to learn and help me refine my own thinking while I did the same for them, it wasn't a problem.

From a compatibility standpoint, I'd differentiate strongly between the importance of intelligence and someone taking up XYZ amount of space, and I'd NEVER say someone with a low-IQ isn't deserving of love. 8O

I think if only one person ever called you ugly once in your lifetime, you can bet your ass 1/10 of the world population finds you as ugly too.

This would mean, in my case, that probably 90% of the world would find me ugly. But where I live, every guy looks like a movie star compared to me, so of course I'll be found ugly anyways. :?

where abouts do you live on the set of the OC? even that show needs a token ugly guy I suppose or is that the token black guy :? who knows (or cares) what (ugly) Hollywood is doing these days

I'm both black and ugly, so I'd probably fit on that show. And no, I live a good deal east of California. But I swear it seems like every guy I run into where I live is at least a 7/10 in looks. I'm probably the least attractive guy looks-wise that I've seen around here. Doesn't do wonders for my self-confidence at all.

I have heard people make excuses as such as genetics, class status, environment and they are simply excuses for people not to train hard. In fact, one of my circuit training workouts involves body weight exercises as such as knuckle push ups, wide fly push ups, diamond push ups, dive bomber push ups and decline push ups. Believe me, if you think you are in good shape now, you won't after one workout with me and you will realize that some people have that willpower without making any excuses.

I don't have anything against overweight people but what I do have a problem with is when they blame their fat on external factors instead of accepting that fat is something that is caused through lack of discipline, exercise and correct diet.

Another question - How comes obesity is rare in countries like France where they eat a diet focused more on organic vegetables? How comes obesity is rare in North Korea where people are malnourished? How comes obesity is so high in the United States?

This is the prime example that diet is the main factor when it comes to obesity, are you trying to tell me that Americans are genetically fatter than French people?

meh in their defense i would say hay metabolism is the main factor...which indirectly could also mean diet if you are in a caloric surplus(which is easier with a slow metabolism). I eat fast food everyday to maintain my bw. I i stopped lifting weights right now and just ate when i was hungry i would prob b about 150 pounds a t6'2lol.

I use free weights but body weight workouts and uphill sprinting can be very effective. There are fighters that only train with their body weight, see infinite intensity at http://www.rosstraining.com or try a sample workout and you will quickly have a different perspective once you are puking from uphill sprints.

Very good point.

Also countries who recently adopted an american lifestyle got an insane increase rate of obesity within a one generation (ie. Qatar, Dubai...etc). Their kids are ROUND balls of fat.

Mediterranean/Greek cuisines are probablly the most balanced in the world, and the French cuisine is probably more balanced than many others in Europe (ie. German for instance is too meat-oriented and I guess wine is healtheir than beer, Italian is too pasta oriented, no idea about UK but I think it's german-like).

id dare say puertorican is some of the worst in the world. literally every single native food i can think of is fried and fatty. Heck, we have like 3 different ways of doing fried plantains. But damn it is it yummy.
then again it explains why everyone is fat here. and i mean like this makes americans look healthy at times

Thanks for clarifying this, I now know why extremely direct people (who speak up literally everything what's on their mind) come over so unpleasant to me, it's like they really enjoy hurting you with their 100 objective and true facts fired at once at you, but do they ever tell you true facts that DO NOT hurt the s**t out of you?

You can be ANYTHING and be attractive.
Just think about it. There are people out there who want to have sex with corpses.
There are people who stuff their spouses to make them "more attractive", and people who starve their spouses for the same reason.
People don't find the same people attractive or unattractive. There's a list of "the ugliest Hollywood actresses" and some of the women on that list are also on the "most beautiful women" list. Beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

If I remember correctly, most men prefer US14, but they don't mind 4 or 24 either. It's like with breasts. Most straight men like female breasts. Not big breasts, small breasts, perky breasts, round breasts, they like breasts.

In the end, size has never been really important. It's only shallow people who care more about the size of a person, and you don't want to date them.

Frankly, this list is pretty accurate: What Makes a Woman Sexy
Mind that "looks" is "take care of yourself and how you dress".
An active woman is more attractive than a lazy couch potato. Size doesn't matter. Fit is not the same as skinny.
A clean, tidy and nicely dressed woman is more attractive than a shoddy, dirty woman who doesn't care what she wears. Your size, eye color or hair length is 100% irrelevant.

I bolded the part that reminded of a Malcom in the Middle episode.

As much as the fatphobic (you use terms like "excuses" and "blame") like to condemn being overweight as a character flaw,
all of science disagrees,
as do the millions who have more discipline than you can imagine in terms of diet and exercise and yet remain overweight.
No one needs justification for taking up X amount of space.

Dozens of factors contribute to someone's weight,
not the least of which being disorders and illnesses (lipedema, for instance) which make it impossible to lose.

Sorry we're not all born muscular mesomorphs... We can keep the worst of the excess fat or skinniness away, but it takes a LOT more effort than what mesomorphs need to put in for their physique.

I'm not referring to the physically sick, I am referring to the general population and you failed to answer the point me and Boo made about cultural changes in diet and obesity around the world being a significant factor in why many people are obese.
