It doesn't matter if some women aren't like this, because the majority are, and if the majority of men want a girlfriend, they have to aim to please the majority of women.

Also, when I looked into PUA (I haven't done this in years), their idea of an "alpha" was more of an attitude and behavior that the guy had, and had not very much to do with his muscles or his wealth.

You also have to ask yourself, if you took the social status, money, fame away from the person, are they still attractive to the person that loves them? I would rather have genuine love over someone that values me for superficial things as such as the car I drive or the money. I'd rather meet someone that makes a lower income doing what they are passionate about over someone that is under corporate pressure, demand and stress from commute times. I train for myself because it gives me a natural high and makes me feel great.

In other words, don't be a sheep of society and you are more likely to meet a someone you share a genuine bond with in the long run.

I'm not even sure what you're trying to ask me. Probably for a lot of people, they would be less attractive if they had fewer things. However, people make emotional decisions about dating, so they are much more likely to listen to emotional cues than to pay attention to actual facts. The behavior that the PUA tried to teach sent off these emotional cues, so if you do it right, you could act like an "alpha" without actually having power or money.

I don't even know why you are calling me a sheep. I wasn't even talking about myself. Apart from knowing that I looked into PUA a couple years go, and some of my opinions about things that weren't me, my post didn't tell you anything about me.

the same thing could be said about appearance, as it is also superficial.

The car you drive say very little about your genetics. Unconditional love does not exist, as monogamy is a manmade state ultimately fueled by our sexual desires.

If it says nothing about what really matters, then it's superficial. A ten year old Corvette is less expensive than a brand new Ford Taurus with the cheapest trim level, but it will easily impress more people.

i am not following your examples, maybe because we have a different idea of what "really matters".
