Shau, you're one of the first misogynists I ever engaged in conversation with on this forum and it went no where because you see it as a competition for you to prove some point about men or women and it's just pointless and I honestly don't see why I need to defend my point that harassment is not a means of teaching women a lesson.

Like any decent human being is going to agree that harassment isn't something people are meant to learn a lesson from. Like, don't you dare cancel a date or ignore a man, or he'll harass you, lesson learned. That's misogyny, and the fact that you can't tell it from anything else tells ME that there is NO POINT in engaging in conversation with you.

And how do you know she didn't feel threatened by the texts/that they were "non-threatening" ?

The OP claimed what he wrote wasn't an implied "threat" of any kind unless he was lying. But, I suppose he could've sent her his avatar photo with that creepy looking smile in it beforehand. lol

The "cry misogyny" card doesn't work on anyone with half a brain. You got nothing, and you're not doing women any favors here. There has certainly been abundant amounts of misogyny on this forum before, and being a bit twitchy about it is understandable, but the "omg he criticized a woman, he must be a misogynist!" attitude from so many women is not doing a damn thing to make the situation any better. You're contributing to the problem.

I really don't think it's OK to mock his picture, regardless of his actions. That's cruel and unnecessary.

When I state "Drop her immediately unless she had a good reason to flake...which isn't actually flaking at all..." and then I'm suddenly accused of encouraging people to harass women for cancelling a date...I'm pretty sure I ought to eject too. The OP may not have felt like he was threatening or harassing her. But if she feels like she is being threatened or harassed, then under most laws that's reasonable for police.
