Exactly. I'm talking about "my way or the highway 24/7" women.

That assumes the idea of having kids is at least somewhere on your radar screen--which for the majority of aspies it might not be.

I know what you mean. It sort of reminds me of how abusive guys can get relationships where as I and some others who wouldn't dream of such horrendous behavior remain single.

In some cases the women just want more attention or have legitimate reasons for their complaints. But there are certainly many who go overboard.

Men these boys are not.

Or to oversimplify, a man who seeks entertainment is not "finished". This probably isn't at all what you were trying to say, but there definitely are women who think like this. Unless they hook up with a workaholic They will never be happy when their partner is happy, but then they will likely fins any emotional needs unfulfilled .

Huh??? How do you work that out? Who built every building you see? Every road? Laid every inch of cable that makes the internet? Mined the fuel that keeps us warm? Built 98% of everything we call "civilization" with their labour? Disposes of the rubbish? Exploits entire continents to provide cheap food and toys for their family?

I guess that why some "BAD" personality of women will doom marriage.

Ungratefulness, everybody have to chip in but in some area. Most of the time, the women should do certain chores while the men as breadwinner go to work. If a man breadwinnner is done with work, exaustive, brought money to the table. Is IT NOT wrong for women to clean and cook for the man?

If you think that wrong. OMG! Marriage Doomsday!

Case in point:

I know someone who has the following beliefs:

1. She expects to never have to provide emotional support in any case.
2. She expects to never have burdens or inconveniences in a relationship.
3. She doesn't trust herself not to cheat if she meets someone superior to the one she's with.
4. If anyone she's dating moves outside of a 50-mile radius, she will leave rather than take the steps necessary to make the relationship work (i.e. move to where he is, be supportive until she can move, etc.)
5. She expects someone to communicate flawlessly, but she'll take a month to answer an e-mail but be on MySpace or Facebook every day.
6. She feels that if a guy improves himself for the better, her judgment will be misguided (i.e. she believes that people have to be born nearly perfect).

She will be quick to point other people's flaws, but expect to be excused for her flaws.

Seriously? I suppose she can expect all those things just as much as she wants just like I can expect to find 10 million dollars in my mailbox. In fact, I'm probably more likely to win 10 million dollars in a lottery than she is to have those expectations fulfilled.

Actually, she did meet someone, but I have a feeling that she will only stay with him as long as he keeps playing by her rules.

If a guy who is interested in her tries to convince her that her ideas are ridiculous, she will accuse him of trying to manipulate or guilt-trip her.

She will write someone off if he makes even one little mistake, and she is not the forgiving type. She doesn't bother to see the reasoning between other peoples' actions, and that they didn't mean to do certain things, or that they did things without meaning any harm. She will only see that those things happened, and judge that person by said actions, without ever bothering to get the facts straight.

There are men and women with really bad attitudes, who should just remain single for all eternity. Either that, or we could stick them on an island together so they can make themselves miserable, and leave the rest of us alone.

The problem is people like that are in the mentality where they feel everything should be handed to them. They don't want to work, and want a prince/princess to take care of them all day. The bad part is if someone does fall for them, that person is at constant risk of being replaced by anyone hotter/cooler who comes along.

It's much better to just avoid that type, and instead find someone you can trust.

I'll admit I'm not a neat freak and my personal space tends to get cluttered, but when my wife got back from a solo vacation she actually accused me of "having some women" in the house because the the dirty laundry she had left was washed, folded, hug up and put away and it's not my bra's hanging from the back of the dining room chair either. I'm also guilty of being a binge cleaner, I'll let things go a while then get out the vacuum cleaner and start at the ceiling and work my way down, wash the windows and walls then probably then get out the steam cleaner and shampoo the carpet. Oh by the way, why don't women in general count all of the yard work as helping around the house?
I also cook her dinner more often than she cooks mine and it's on the stove and warm when she gets home from work.

This is kinda like when a guy b*****s at a woman for taking his expensive screwdriver, and uses it to pry open a pickle jar or something...working with tools isn't her thing, and she doesn't take pride in it, so she doesn't care if they are used properly or not.

I don't know I have a grand-daughter who would be in seventh heaven if her dad bought her a Barbie tool belt full of DeWalt power tools for Christmas.

What would your opinion be on the friend I just mentioned?

Though...

If you actually roll your eyes at that kind of powerplay, you're allright in my book : )
Alas, a lot of girls I know act like the OP discribes because it's a habit, not evil intent.

But luckily there's even more people who aren't so manipulatey.

Trust me, this is an age-old issue. With my parents, both hate having to clean, but my mother (who grew up fatherless) knew of no other way to live other than a mother being responsible for maintaining the household in the absence of a father. So, when it comes to maintaining the house, my mother gets upset (absolutely hates a cluttered house after growing up in one), but my dad is the only form of income to the family (computer engineer, but fairly stressful at times). So mother complains about the house, both parents hate cleaning, brothers and i hate it . . . the house gets cleaned (doesnt stay so for long given a family of 5 plus pet). It all boils down to how folks deal with stress, and what is considered stressful to the individual. Someone said it earlier, "Who on earth wants to clean a house after dealing with a tiring/stressful day of work?" Granted, this shouldnt keep couples from putting their effort to clean on weekends (or when needed on days off). Hell, there are days when my family swears my father is going through his "period" (come to call it "phases" since that word was taken  ). In the end, both sides are guilty of what they dont like to do, and get pissed at the other for having to do it. Thats why its called compromise . . .

Unfortunately, I ended up getting married to exactly the kind of woman the threadstarter refers to.

Everything was "her way or the highway" and nothing was off the table to ensure that - she called 911 on me once when I finally stood up for myself (non-physically of course) and wouldn't back down on some trivial issue (can't even remember what it was). The police came and asked me to leave the house or face arrest - The woman is always innocent, right?

That's the last time I ever dared to stand up to her.

Whenever I would ask her why she does this, she would say that "men need to be told what to do, they can't do anything for themselves", or she would change the subject and say "women are always the b*****s, it's never the man's fault".

She had an affair and divorced me - and called it all my fault. After she came back to me when her BF realized she meant business and took off, she still thinks what she did was perfectly justified. Ironically, she divorced me one month before she would have qualified for alimony, so I won't be donating 40% of my income to her for the rest of my life.

If you're wondering why I didn't simply leave, we have two kids. Finally I became convinced that living in this sort of environment was much worse for my kids than seeing me a little less often, so I moved out.

Now she says she will never forgive me for "leaving her" and "abandoning my children"!

How that for awful?

At this point, I can never see myself getting married again, I will never put myself in a situation where I am so physically/morally/legally helpless. Given the ways the laws are written and how the views of society are completely stacked against men in this regard, I don't see why any man in his right mind would get married unless he were absolutely certain that he had a good woman (and there are millions of them - the vast majority), and I absolutely do not trust my judgement in this regard.

Please understand, I actually love women, I am not a misogynist by any means. But my point is that if you get a bad one, there can be hell to pay beyond just a broken heart - so be careful!

That's terrible Grisha, absolutely terrible. Does the money go specifically for the children, or for her? You should both support the children 50/50 but it's completely unjust that one of you should have to pay for the other. Laws like this are absolutely BS.

I don't blame you for never wanting to get married again. What kind of person makes another person pay 40% of their income to them for the rest of their life? It's different if that money goes solely to the children's upkeep, but otherwise...

Some women are very dangerous people. It's funny, but I have more of a fear of women than of any man. Of course, most are wonderful people, but the bad ones can destroy your life. You shouldn't ever feel guilty about not wanting to marry again; don't forget, marriage is an institution, and many of the laws surrounding it are outdated or unjust.
