how important are looks to you in a partner?

When I encounter a woman for the first time, I do emphasize her looks and attire. I tend to seek women with long or semi-long hair because I find it as symbol of femininity.

I would never want to date a woman who completely looks and dresses like a man (e.g. Rachel Maddow, Chyna, KD Lang). You know women with extremely short hair and no make-up or jewelry, dressed up in mens' clothing.

I think you're over dramatizing a bit about how men don't want you. You're 21 right? I didn't lose my virginity until I was 24, you're doing pretty well if you ask me. There's also aspie females here older than me who have never dated and are still virgins.

What I'm trying to say if you're looking at it as a race, you're winning. I don't know how you can think you're not good or good enough compared to everyone else.

How I'm not good enough? I was talking about looks-wise. I made the first move with most (arguably all) my relationships. Most of the time the guys like, "Eh. Why not?" in a way that suggested that nothing else was going on in their lives at the moment, as if a relationship with me was just to pass the time until they found someone who was "their type." :/

looks are not important. neither is intelligence. neither is personality.

i do not know why i love tammy so much. i have no idea. it is like 2 peoples souls somehow are connected in some way, and nothing else on earth can replace it.

for me it happened out of nowhere. i was not attracted to anything. i just got used to being with her, and my love grew in the relaxation i felt while being with her.

We all get that though. Men can be shallow creatures, it's quite common they're always shopping for someone else. It's happened to me, a lot of women are lucky if they have someone who isn't like that - but all the good guys are usually taken, and for good reason, the rest of us get the duds who treat us like crap.

Have you ever dawned upon you that they might be looking and dressing like men for a reason? At least 2 of the 3 you are mentioning prefer to date women. Therefore the question is not whether you would date these women or not as they demonstrably have little interest in males.
