Yeah it is a random quote.. I saw it on a website. I did borrow a book of his from the library once but then the time lapsed so I had to return it.

I think it applies to the situations of many. Amin Maalouf was referring to the fact that his ancestors were nomads living in the desert and had always travelled from place to place, and now he was living in Paris, so he is saying that travel is in his blood. Something I can relate to.

Your ancestors would have come a long way too, to set up their lives in a new country, so perhaps it does apply to you. Do you like the quote?

Just sent messages to a few new people. I'll see how it goes. So far, nothing has happened since I disclosed my AS on my profile other than one person replying to my message and then deleting her profile the next day.
