True, difficult to top that.

How about "thank you, master!" ?

I would think that one counter-productive. lol

Saying the name of a relative might work.

Yeah, I get the idea.

Another way I'll never fit in. Cavemen rule. :(

If one girl's opinion counts for anything, I prefer gentle as I have really sensitive skin and I am small and petite and I break easily... so dont worry, there are girls out there who like all sorts of men. :)

Agreed. Women are not all the same, just like men aren't all the same.

No sane girl would want an abuser , jerk , beater, drunk.... those are granted.

You would be surprised how many women who end up with abusive men or cheaters are actually successful, confident women who have good careers. In fact it is said that the stronger the woman, the longer she might stay in the bad relationship... until she finally learns.

He said no sane woman would *want* that.

Being in an abusive relationship does not make you insane. Many people, men and women, who are sane end up in them because they are sucked in and dont stand up for themselves. Low self-esteem does not equal insane. Many people go through phases in their lives where they have issues with self-esteem. And most people will experience infidelity in their lifetime, it does not mean they are insane.

No, but it does warp your perception of reality. Most women in abusive relationships don't really see that it's abuse. Nor do they go into it fully aware that abuse will occur.

Wanting it and not recognizing it for what it is are two different things.

Yes but most people I estimate experience varying types of abuse when they grow up, even if it is a disapproving parent, bullies in the playground, or rejection from friends. Anyone can get in an abusive relationship and anyone can get cheated on. And as advanced women are in this age, we still have physical vulnerabilities men dont have. Though of course men can end up in abusive relationships too, mostly emotionally abusive. If people dont realise that this can happen to *anybody*, then there wont be any awareness of this as people will believe that it only happens to someone else.

Exactly!

Or something obscure so your partner pauses. Like 'Nefertiti'.

Maybe, but you only have to read what's being said about safe words to see what I'm getting at.

I can be rough if it's wanted, but it goes against all my instincts. Then I get girls complaining I'm not "macho" or "alpha" enough.

These are the ones who've seen through the one about wanting a guy who's taller than they are, presumably so they can be physically dominated.

Not being the dominating type doesn't get you very far. It's all about who can wield the biggest stick, not what they can do with things besides the stick!

Sure, there are exceptions, but I'm betting you are in California or New Zealand or somewhere!

Niall, emlion and I do not speak for all women... or even most. Stop making us the spokespersons for women.

I've just read the last four pages of this and I'm *sure* I had something to say ... just can't remember what it is now!
