i am advising her on how to get bf potentials.
I have a friend, she's in her 30s, that has lost a lot weight last months, renewed her wardrobe and used a new haircut. A couple of weeks ago she was claiming how men keep being uninterested in her.
Of course, when a woman has not an attractive look, this is a lovekiller. But you must be 'under normal' to be considered unanttractive. Her biggest problem here is being short, 1.62 in french part of Belgium, that I'm not sure how tall people are there but in Vlaams or Nederland people are real tall. And this is not gonna change. Of course, a better haircut or better dresses of losing some weight is gonna help, but it won't make miracles.
Men use to pay attention to tall women. When you're a short woman, you have to make yourself noticed, and this means self-confidence, otherwise you risk end up being the tiny shy thing in the corner.
lol your stories are weird.
Do you know how much is my height? I am 1.63 and I am male.
In fact, I have never heard a girl can't find a date because of her 1.62 cm height. C'mon. Short height is usually a male problem.
Women usually care MUCH more about the man's height than the other way around.
Generally women want taller men and generally men want shorter women. Both genders care the same.
No, generally women want taller men while men generally go for shorter women because they can't convince taller women.
Taller women are desired by a lot of men while shorter men are usually very undesired by women.
I'm talking about women that are taller than men. I doubt a lot of men would date a woman taller than them.
By taller women i mean those who are taller than men.
Stop beating your head against the wall and accept the truth, you often hear women saying "I want a Tall, bla bla bla man", you never hear a man saying "I want a short ... bla bla woman".

I won't imitate your categorical style.

And it's quite logic to think that a lot of men sure are intimidated if their girlfriend is taller than them, like... 5, 10, 15 cm. A friend of mine said to me that he didn't want a taller woman because she would seem his mother. Don't forget the society either. It's easy to be mocked if you are shorter than your girlfriend. Sad but true.
So don't accuse only the woman. It's obvious men have strong preferences about the height too.

Well, I have the opposite problem. A girl I'm talking to and have yet to meet keeps mentioning how short she is (5'3") no matter how many times I assure her I couldn't care less about height, end of story. I've only ever met two women taller than me in my life: one about 6'7" the other about 6'10".

Yes, and I was rejected by two shorter guys.
We need to differenciate between beliefs of the society or some statistic study from internet and our individuality

Most short guy might hesitate to approach taller women because they believe they would be rejected - and for a good reason, since 90% of girls say it loudly how much they prefer taller guys.
Short guys do not usually approach taller women for fear from rejection.
Tall girls do not approach shorter guys because they find them unattractive.
That's the main difference.

Ok yes, short men are good people, tall women are bad people. This is your theory. Absurd

i dont even know how you got those points from wht he said. Sounds like a bad attempt at belittling someone.
I find the whole height thing very funny. From what I have noticed most men and women don't really care too much about the height of their potential partner they do however worry about the teasing belittling and bullying that comes from dating outside the social norm. The same thing goes for body shape, class, religion and also used to be for race too. However race is becoming a lot more acceptable to interdate. I am 6'4" and I am a woman. Guess what? I am dating a man and also have a fwb who are both also 6'4" and they both love me wearing heels. I even have an ex boyfriend who is SHOCK HORROR only 5'5". I usually go for men my height and taller just due to logistics but i would never not date someone due to their height. I have also found men on the other end of the spectrum at 6'8" and taller have a real harsh time in dating the same as shorter men due to the belittling factor their spouces feel from their peers.
Because I still want to have a boyfriend.
Find someone who looks like you. That my sound oversimplistic but I see it all the time, especially with fellow men. They're dumpy and/or homely and/or overweight but they want some skinny blonde. NOT going to happen - nor would it be a healthy relationship if it did due to imbalance.
Of course, we don't know if you're attractive or not because of your refusal to show it. Once shown, it's purely subjective - people like different things.
My boyfriend is morbidly obese, a lot older then me and greying and i am a very tall skinny blonde. Attraction is in the eye of the beholder and I think my boyfriend is the most attractive man i have ever seen.
