I can't tell whether you're trolling, or just naturally kind of an obnoxious person.

Neither if you ask me.

Well, I reckon it's kind of obnoxious to keep going on about how other peoples' friends are taking steroids and just lying about it.

I doubt she even knows any of these guys.
Maybe if she made the effort to get to know some of them (some of them are even on Facebook, so they're easy enough to find) then she would realise that her comments are completely uncalled for.

Robert Cheeke doesn't do steroids, smoke weed or drink alcohol.
He does however do a lot of bicep curls, lateral work and bench presses.

If you're going to trash talk my friends, you could at least come up with some evidence to back you up.

Naturally obnoxious.

I'm not trash talking your friends, I do believe most of those vegan people probably are natural, as taking roids kinda wouldn't be a precluded part of an all natty raw vegan lifestyle type thing. It wouldn't surprise me if somewhere out there, some all natty vegan bodybuilder was actually doing roids, though. Why? Because people like recognition.

And I had no idea of his routine, actually. I'm just giving the routine that I see most teenage kids do.

http://grg51.typepad.com/steroid_nation ... _body.html
"Natural" bodybuilders caught running a drug ring selling amphetamines.

BTW I'm not vegan, but I don't really eat very close to a "bodybuilding" kinda diet at all. I don't eat a lot of meat anymore. I also really like Avi. I think he's cool as hell and he was one of the people to influence me a bit on not eating 200g of protein a day and whatever. Also I have a friend who's a raw vegan who got me on a better track.

Just saying, "all natty brah" doesn't mean the person's actually natural. It's much better to be cynical than fill yourself with false hope. To be clear, I was not dissing your friends personally.

Fair enough.

Quite a few of the vegan body builders do steroids, but it's incredibly unlikely that any of the guys who I've mentioned ever would.
I mean ... why would they ever need to ?

I'd never heard of that Australian bloke..... he's certainly not part of the main natural bodybuilding circuit, from what I can tell.

People like that give genuinely natural body builders a bad name.

Sorry for being a bit stroppy.... 8O I think that comes from hearing so many of Alex's soliloquys about how annoying he finds it that people assume he's doing steroids.

He can literally be going to the gym one day and have random plebs come up and slag him off saying that he's not a real bodybuilder because he's not as bulky as guys on steroids..... then the next day have different people trying to claim that there's no way he can be that large with a natural vegan diet/lifestyle.

Most (if not all) of the natural vegan guys who I've mentioned campaign for more strict testing in natural bodybuilding contests, to try and catch out more of the 'fake' people.

:-) I really don't blame you... I know that I certainly don't have any kind of 'body building' diet.
I'm not a body builder myself or anything like that, but I used to be going out with a bloke who was vegan bodybuilder.
Not the huge kind like any of these guys, but he did well for himself physically.

Basically my post was in reference to the Jersey Shore brahs of the world. You know, those people. Basically the more someone nerds out about this sorta thing, the less likely they are to be juicing.

And I don't really follow bodybuilding much at all. I mostly just lift for athletic improvement.

I gotta go, I'll look for the study later, but I think in Germany, they did a study/test. They found that like .05% of athletes in competition tested positive for steroids. And it was like 2% or something of actual athletes out of comp tested positive for steroids. Then something like 10% of regular gym goers at normal gyms tested positive for steroids.

Oh wait ... were you saying that because of Guy Code being an American show ?

:-) I'm not from America, but I caught a few episodes of Guy Code on international freeview about a week ago and thought it was totally bizarre and absolutely hilarious.

Are there really people like that in real life :?:

Steroids are bad for just about everyone.

However all people have different bodies that have their own mechanisms and what may be unnatainable to you, whithout steroids, may just mean putting some extra effort for someone that is luckier.

This however excludes some of the stuff that is way overdone.

For example:
I was at a wedding a month ago.
My parents kept bugging me to approach someone so in order to upset them I started chatting with a female that had weight issues that affected her health(she said so just after we started talking)

Anyhow she asked me who my family was and so on so I started pointing out my sisters and my mum/ dad.
She changed the subject.
Shortly afterwards however she asked me what sports did my sister do since both of them are seen as fit by doctors...
I pointed out that they barely worked out and they do paddle (lazy people´s tennis) once a month, if they are feeling active that month.
Then I proceeded to point out I broke my hip over a year ago and have left extensive sports, limit myself to walking from one place to another, and I still have the same weight as I had at the gym(less muscle but that is another story)-

She had a hard time believing me and my sisters were just born with bodies that didnt require as much attention as hers to maintain a healthy weight

I think lady woof missed the post that talked how for some guys they can get big without extra help, but that most won't get there without it? So it kinda negates any ammount of celebs she pulls out of some forum

Just to put things into perspective:

Image

This guy was on 500 mg/week of testosterone for 12 weeks and did a half-assed workout routine with no diet awareness whatsoever, and he probably lost his gains after the cycle ended. I'm much bigger than that and have never touched steroids (allthough my testosterone levels are naturally high).

Schwarzenegger did 500 mg/week of testosterone for six weeks when preparing for contests--supplemented with Winstrol, T3 and Deca, plus a slightly lower dosage for various movies in the 1980's (he was natural for Terminator II).

Anabolic steroids are not magic pills that will instantly give you muscle. They'll push your limits and make a good body a better body and are essential for pretty much any olympic sport as well as bodybuilding and powerlifting, but there's far more to the bodybuilder physique than just steroids.

While "common" steroids that regular people can afford aren't dangerous if you keep the cycles short and go off-cycle, the effect wears off eventually and you'll need them just to keep the gains you've made. Doubling the steroid dosage won't double your results.

Edit: Greg Valentino's arms are mainly synthol. He just gets paid to deny it by those who produce the nasty stuff.
