Yep, I'm a busy kitty! :D This forum is so much fun, though! Yay!
By the way, I've been wondering this for a long time: what does  mean? I think I know what it means, but I just thought I'd check to make sure.

What did you think it means? You have to say or I'll explode out of curiosity. ;)

I thought it had something to do with nature since it was green. There, now you won't explode.

I personally thought it had something to do with the phrase: green with envy. I have only used it for the same reason Earthling stated though. Basically since we lack one of these: XD

Okay, here's an interesting question: have any of you guys been lonelier or less lonely since joining this forum?

I feel much less lonelier since joining this forum.

And as for  ,

I would use this emoticon after realizing that I screwed up and felt slightly embarrassed…felt like "What did I just do!" ..to emphasize certain unexpected failure ..which would feel very funny to myself as well...

And when I'm being silly or joking around..

I've been lonely for so long that it's really a new experience for me not to be lonely [at least in the friend department].

^ You're so nice though. :D

Last night I thought about loneliness and got a bit fed up with life tbh... but it's very contradictory to how most IRL interactions work for me, they usually suck. People look at my blank face and go away or I behave like an a**hole/don't reply. 8O

I can't say if I feel more or less lonely since joining WP but when I'm writing posts or read replies I don't feel lonely.

Yep, I'm nice, but that doesn't mean that people necessarily want to be friends with me [although 90% of the kids at my high school aren't the kinds of people that I would want to be friends with, so it works out!] I'm extremely insecure, so I often doubt whether I'll ever find someone who can understand me and love me, but I'm trying to overcome that.

I've developed a technique to appreciate the simple things in life: I write down 10+ beautiful things each day that I see [such as the sun glinting off the leaves, or a conclave of crows chattering away, or lovely flowers, and so forth].

It really is a shock on ones system, I remember when I crossed that threshold between 1 to 2 years ago. I made the first true friends I've ever had and it felt so odd and unfamiliar. I almost felt like I didn't have a right to have friends and that being alone was who I was supposed to be. Sometimes when I was down I wished I didn't have friends because I felt like I was really intruding on their life and I could see that some of the things I did directly impacted their own development. I was becoming part of the tapestry of their life and I felt inadequate to be apart of it.

I do feel less alone since I joined the forum.

Yes, yes, that's exactly how I feel! Thank you!
Here's one of my favourite Manga quotations: "Whether you want it or not, once you have created bonds between you and other people, those bonds will never disappear.” [Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles Vol. 19]

It's a good quote :), for the longest time I always saw myself as being like a ring bearer like Frodo. That I had a journey that I had to complete and couldn't let myself get tied down by people, but I never knew what it was. Galadriels line from the film always really got me: You are a ring bearer frodo .... to bear a ring of power is to be alone. This task was appointed to you and if you do not find a way...no one will.
