Friends you choose, family you're stuck with.
I wouldn't date a guy who wasn't willing to introduce me to his friends once we were dating exclusively - and I'm an adult.

Who your friends are says a lot about you. I value my closest friends opinions of my boyfriend. if all of them dislike him, there's probably something to it.

Exactly. If the friends of a girl don't like me, then it means trouble, even if the girl herself think I'm ok.

In regards to ND girls, there is also the issue of whom the girl associates with. If she has lots of NT friends that dislike NDs, then I'd still be in trouble for the same reason as above. Thus, it has an additional function for ND-ND relationships in that the girl (and guy) needs to have picked friends that are ok with other NDs.

Dude. You are just playing a game of "the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence." You think that the problems you are having with these women is about their age. It is not. It's because you have aspergers. The quality women are running from you because they don't date guys who make broad steriotypes about them.

Maybe you really aren't into dating? Maybe you are. But if you are, I would think more about how to be a good date and less about wether all women of X age are same way. Its never true. Be a good date and good women will be attracted to being with you. Forget about age steriotypes.

You know what's really funny? In the last year or so, there've been times when I felt mildly relieved when a woman my age rejected me or lost interest. Because I know that if she does like me, she'll want to get super-serious super-fast. That's how all my close friends' relationships were like. And they went from being fun outgoing guys to staying home all the time. Their idea of weekend entertainment is having all-couples dinner parties, that are really nothing but dog and pony shows for publicly displaying your relationship. I've attended those as a 3rd/5th/7th wheel, so I know from experience.

Maybe you have a biased sample of women 30+ around you? I know a few women that age that are not like that, and I certainly didn't start to stay home all the time as I got into a relationship and later married and got kids. Rather the opposite. We always had the kids with us when we went out, and during this period I was much less home than when I was single.

I don't think they have any idea about what the OP writes about them here on WP.

If he can hide this attitude when not online, he's a lot better at subterfuge than I am. Our autistic need to categorize things does not go over well in social situations. I have first hand experience of this.

It takes most women about 5 minutes to identify this attitude.

I'm not losing anything. Women of a demographic I'm afraid of are avoiding me anyway. This frees up more women for men who are willing to settle down. Hordes of 30-something men in my city will only thank me.

I'd just want to point out that I was just like you when I was your age. I preferred women in their early 20s, and even got married to one of them. Still, it was not because of their attitudes towards settling down. For some reason I found that age group more appealing. In my teens, I mostly preferred NDs of my own age. Right now, I find the 30-something most appealing.
