Charlie Chaplin and his girl are now Walking into the Sunset. They both look very Harlequin-like

We are delighted to have a piano-player at hand.....by the name of Studs McCrory.

So we could enjoy the Silents tonight.

I like how the Heart Pulsates.

I hope you are having a grand evening, Ms. Chic.

I was thinking: How about slow-dancing to "Sea of Love." Would that be all right?

Your eyes are shy....yet there's a subtle "Come Hither" quality to them.

My sense of flirting can be either grim or obscenely innuendo laden, better keep it cerebral for the time being.

I'm a great fan of Carry On films, wouldn't want to be the cause of any effrontery.

But of course! Take my hand and we'll give it a whirl. Of course my eyes are shy...I have Asperger's. *kidding*. You know, not so much with the eye contact. You are a fantastic dancer. I can honestly say, this place and time is the first I have ever really enjoyed dancing, or even felt as if I were doing it right.

'Twould be delightful to take Thee Hand. So Feminine...So dainty...so Evocative.

I really like this song....and like your company while I enjoy this song.

And you respond to the romance of the singing, too. I see the Emerging Ardor in those Eyes.

I'm glad you were able to make it tonight...for, without you, this would have been an empty evening, indeed.

I am most appreciative of your shy smile, and your scent---both so natural, indicative of the primordial beach.

Perhaps 'tis so! I don't know any good lines to say here. I would maybe say "can I buy you a drink?" but I do that every night! I could try "Do you come here often?" but I know you do! Perhaps I can smile sweetly and say "Play it again, Sam?" if it means one more dance. After all, I did walk into this bar. As it gets later, slight fatigue takes on the function of mild intoxication. Plus, we have the moon, the meteors, the sand...and a boardwalk...

I need lines! Bar keep! Cue up some romantic movies with quotable lines, pronto.

No lines needed....We have the desire for each other's presence.

That's enough.

Your shy eyes speak volumes.

When it comes down to it....in essence....I'm not a big talker.

Eloquence lies in actions, rather than mere words.

You have a facility in visual art.....you don't have to have "lines" to be great in that.

We are enjoying the purple hue of the Bar....and will enjoy the Scent of the Sea very soon.

Truly, my communication still relies pretty heavily on TV and movie references, but....(picks a flower growing on a vine on the trellis over the bar's patio) (smiles) Would you like a lovely flower?

I am out of practice in a big way with personal communication but...Oh look! The meteors! C'mon, lets lie back on the blanket and watch them.

You have a pretty smile.

And that's a pretty flower.

And you're very deft in its Delivery.

The Meteor Shower....indicative of a thunderstorm in hot New York.

Many wishes can be made tonight....upon our blanket.

Alas...I shall have to leave this location in 20 minutes.....

But it's safe here on this Beach.

When I depart, it will be with longing for your company.

Hopefully, I shall see you tomorrow, and we can dance and talk some more.

It would be swell, though, if you could accompany me tonight....and let me escort you to your Abode.

I am so very fond of thunderstorms. And the sound of rain. If it is very hot, I also like the smell of the rain and, most of all, the scent of wet concrete directly after the rain. Best of all would be someone to play in the rain with...jump in the puddles, hold hands, be silly in general. (leans up on one arm to admire companion. smiles.) (plucks small crab off of blanket. Gently sweeps sand off of your hair which chic has deposited there while reaching for crab) Sorry about that.

Sigh, okay. I feel like the petulant child who knows she should go to bed but does not want to come inside. I may sleep out on my porch tonight. I would be pleased if you would walk me home. Perhaps that is best, anyhow, Ahem. We can still see the meteors reflected in the water. (Playfully splashes in your direction) (Laughs and runs like heck down the beach).

LOL....I could use a Sea Shower! Thanks!

We run along the beach....the cool sand where the water once was.

Refreshing, indeed!

How about a Nightcap: An Italian Ice? There's a vendor over there by the Boardwalk. A genuine New York City Italian Ice! Or would you like a Gelato instead?

That's what I'd do if I had a beach house. Place a comfy bed on the porch for these warm nights with a nice sea breeze. Very cozy.

You have a nice comforter, I would imagine....white with various types of flowers. A down comforter---for the sea breeze can be bracing.

Then you'll wake up, and take a nice shower out-of-doors. Using natural soaps. Or would you rather have an outdoor Bath instead? Or both?

When we arrive at your Abode, I shall be delighted if you would allow me to kiss your hand goodnight.

'Twas a nice evening, indeed. And I thank you. And wish you Pleasant Dreams.

I am definitely going to need an Italian ice after that last post. My! I will say I am feeling a bit warm from the run, but I will be lying, of course. You realize this immediately, because I am the worst liar in the universe. You may kiss my hand...perhaps my wrist...perhaps I could speak some French? (Addams Family reference) I warn you...I would like to hug you....(makes eye contact briefly) are you okay with hugs? Good night then, and I shall endeavor to meet you tomorrow evening. Sleep well.
