Hello folks. September is sliding over into October and its getting colder. It was 11 degrees celsius in my room when I woke up yesterday. Good thing I remembered to turn the heat on today. Enough about that. Today, I want to talk something made me very happy. Last Wednesday, something really, really great happened. So, I met this girl online, and now we have known each other for quite a while. We have gradually built a strong liking of each other. That particular day I finally decided to try to express the feelings I have for her, and I asked if the feelings are mutual. She said that they were. So I asked if she wanted to be my In a relationship on Facebook, to which she said yes.
And then we started to talk really sweet with each other, it was like all these romantic notions had slowly built up, and then just came out like the flood of a broken dam. I dont think I have ever been so happy in my life. All through the rest of the week I kept smiling like an idiot, and I dont think people at my school have ever seen me so happy before.
The downside, however, is that the relationship is, shall we say, a really long distance one. And by distance I mean approximately the distance from Stockholm to Beijing. She lives near Beijing. It feels really heavy not being near the one I love. I kept thinking about her all day, and I hugged the air. I feel like meeting her so much, I dont know what to do. And she feels the same for me.
I thought I might say a few things about her. Her Western name is Fiona Caroline Yeung, though I dont know how to pronounce her Chinese name. She was abandoned as a child, so we dont know her birthday. She is 21 or 22 years old. She gave me a Chinese name, Im not sure how to pronounce it but Ill have a try. 杨之贤. I hope I did that right. She gave me the same family name as she has, which is just such a wonderfully romantic notion. I also gave her the name Caroline, which is my cousins name.
You know, my mother says I call myself an asexual because Ive given up on the idea of relationships and therefore the idea of sex, but she is wrong. Being asexual doesnt necessarily imply that one is aromantic. Fiona and countless other love stories among asexuals on the web prove that to me.
Theres probably more to be said, but I cant think of anything more to say at the moment. If you have any suggestions as to what I should talk about in my next video log, Id be very happy if you could share it with me. Also, Id like to give a really big thank you to the people who support me every day. Thank you so much! You dont realize how much help you are to me. Also, as always, thank you for watching.
