Who knows. There are different functioning levels of Asperger's Syndrome and many Autistic conditions on the spectrum that resemble and share symptomatic behaviors with AS. A proper question might be, Hey girls, how functioning do you like your guy to be?

Do most girls (not on here) even know about Asperger's?

Well, I'm an Aspie and a girl. Very high functioning. I've only dated NT males because I've never met an Aspie male.

I like your style but i can see the results now all the answers will be girls saying they want there aspie to be as NT as possible.
Dont you reckon that would be the case?

Honestly, most people i've seen posting on here tend to want someone on the spectrum, someone who knows what their struggles are, and can relate.

Ive known a handful of aspie guys: 5, in RL and online. Aspie guys are not my type. Only 1 of them, I would consider as a potential mate but thats cause he has his life together for the most part, motivated, driven, and in the end hes very mild on the spectrum. All the other aspie guys Ive known did not have their life together. From reading wp, I get the sense that many aspies guys dont have their lives in order. Sure many aspies find the dating world difficult in trying to attract people. If you dont have your life in order, its much harder to find a mate.

I was attracted to aspie-like guys before I knew what asperger's was. I never actually dated ANY guy really, but looking back, some guys I liked had traits.

My type is nothing to do with neurological condition, and all to do with personality.

I like any type of guy who seems different from the norm. Not aspies specifically but they're included under that "different from the norm" umbrella :)

I tend to be most attracted to men who have some autistic-like characteristics (including those who are on and those who are not actually on the spectrum). I suppose it is to do with common ground and understanding, and the ability to communicate on a similar frequency.
