what does "asked out" mean? does it means you were asked so many questions that you wound up all "asked out", or does it mean that she wished you to accompany her while she searched for dates?

dates are common in australia. i like pitted dates, but not dates from iran (they taste better but who knows whether they wash their hands). i like to a lesser degree dates from california (they are a bit too fat and wet) because food laws are more strict there.

i know what you mean with extra processing... i was semi joking above

go on the "date" with her if you want to go on dates, or else tell her to go away. it is such an easy decision.

going on dates is much preferable to coming on dates.

Most articles on internet dating require some sort of "field work" and they usually talk about a couple of dates the reporter went to/ask some couples that met there to tell their story.Im guessing there are no couples that met there(or at least none that keep an active profile for friendships and all)

No, it means being asked to get out of the current place.
i.e of girl asking a guy out in a pub: " Sir, it's time to leave, we're closing now"

In my case it was a girl asking me to get out a bring her a fresh date from a nearby palm.
