For the last several days that I've been going to get my email I keep seeing pictures of Christina Hendrix, no idea what event it was but they're nitpicking her on some outfit she had on and they keep talking about 'Princess Leia' hair. I know, they nitpick everyone but on this one common, she was in Firefly, she's a nerd, world acclaim ain't gonna change that. Its not that it particularly gets my blood up, its not unique to her and for the most part I could care less, but I'm starting to question some of fashion disses, like they're crossing over from 'Orange and green - was she high?' to them just crashing on someone for doing something that they wouldn't have the guts to do themselves. I guess on the other hand, maybe more subliminally (probably the only reason I care to post on it) she was putting a fist in the air for geek power - let it happen!

At least they aren't calling her "fat", which many of those things do, except they couch it in polite terms, like, "Oh, she's so *brave* having that figure, in Hollywood."

Didn't they kinda do that to Gemma? A good reponse would be 'Great. Get me a trailor, let me hit 300 lbs, I'll sit there and eat potato chips all day and pretend to be braindead - its made great reality TV before! And the best part is I'm pretty sure I could thin down again without getting hooked on meth!'.

Gemma who? Arterton? It's ridiculous, it's like people shaped like me and Christina don't deserve to be depicted in popular media. I agree that we don't photograph "as well", there's no angularity to our bodies.

I don't know, I'm done with the whole Hollywood machine. They even call Catherine Zeta-Jones "fat".

I hadn't heard of her, so I googled the name and I have to say she didn't look like much of a geek to me. Or fat, for that matter. I don't get it ...

Christina Hendricks? She photographs more than well enough it seems to me.

The paparazzi & media love to nitpick celebs because lots of individuals fallow that stuff. I don't care unless it involves Miranda Cosgrove

Nah, mv brought up fat as a side tangent on what Hollywood likes to accuse people of, diff pet peeve.

As for geekiness though, yeah, she doesn't exude it quite as much as I thought but she'd still got it in her. When I spot geekiness in women though I guess I'm not necessarily looking at glasses and paint-speckled overalls. If someone has that quirky/inquisitive vibe where odd aspi'ish things intrigue them, where you can tell they liked hanging out with the guys, watching Star Wars and reading science magazines as a kid, etc.. its still there.

Seriously, what species of breasts are those? They're like going to explode any moment.

Looks like she got em from the same person Dolly Parton did

Googled her. She's not fat. She just has a big rack. There's a difference.

Okay, guys, she's a US size 12, same as me. I don't consider that fat, but in Hollywood terms, that's *gigantic*. That's all I meant. This from the same people that consider Catherine Zeta-Jones "fat", being all of a size 8.

No, she isn't fat. But she doesn't just have a "big rack" She is a big lady (tall and bigger framed), a lot of hollywood stars are really short (like 5 foot nothing) and skinny and because Christina is in proportion, it just seems like her breasts are huge, but if she was shrunk down to the height of a shorter celeb, and so was her body to stay in proportion with the smaller height they would be a lot smaller.

What I'm saying is you can't compare boob size of someone of her size with someone who's nearly a foot shorter and smaller.

But either way, she still has a big rack. But she's a big lady, too. Compared to the others.

I had to google her name.

She looks okay to me - I would not be embarrassed to be seen with her in public.

Christina Hendricks in the total antithesis of the stereotypical weight obsessed Hollywood blond bimbo with the fake tan, nose, boobs, hair and lips. She is a little geeky and very feminine, she is a breath of fresh air.

Christina is one of the hottest women celebrities on the planet and most men (real men) just can't get enough of her.
