I'm having a big problem, I am a guy trying to get a date. I was dateless in highschool but it wasn't all because of AS but the Guy to Girl ratio was 10:1, pretty bad huh? Well I'm a freshmen in college and the Guy Girl ratio is supposedly 7:2 but I think its more like 5:2. Which isn't that bad as high school but still not great. Unfortantly alot the girls have highschool boyfriends or there dating the Jocks/cool guys. I was thinking about waiting out my freshman year and going in for the kill next year on the incoming freshman or transfering to another college with a better girl to guy ratio, the problem is I love it up here and I would hate to leave and I don't find the hassle of transfering appealing. what do you think?

Where are you in school? For most US campuses over the past thirty years, the male/female ratio has shifted dramatically in favor of females. Some public schools are even as much as 30/70.

I go to Paul Smiths which is in the Adirondack Mountains. It's very outdoorsy oriented and you know how much most girls love the outdoors (bugs!). I love camping hiking, skiing ect. so I have mixed feeling abou leaving. And I wan't to find a girl that appreciates the outdoors as much as I do (Instead of fashion, the trival popculture crap and other stuff like that ). But that is not the question, I just want to know If transfering is a good Idea or not?

Don't transfer. The rule is generally(in high school anyway) that upperclass guys go with freshmen girls, and freshmen guys get stuck looking for stragglers. Bide your time.
