Back in the day, I used to listen to him a lot on the radio. He went off for a couple years and now has an online show. He introduced me to my libertarian views, gave me a direction, confidence, and insight into how to get laid. Hasn't worked for me yet, but it has worked for my friends (some which seem Aspergian).

Check out his older videos on youtube.

Here's one on being a nice guy:

i googled him and this is what came up on wikipedia.

Quote:
Leykis is single and has no children. He is an atheist, although reared as a Catholic. He has been married and divorced four times, which he unabashedly proclaims on-air regularly. Leykis has also boasted that he has paid for at least three abortions.[8]
His second marriage was to television reporter Christina Gonzalez, who was caught cheating after Leykis investigated some hotel receipts he found.[3] Another marriage, which lasted one year, was with a Seattle woman in 1989,[16] who was a listener of his show.[3]
His fourth wife, Susan Drew Leykis, who first met Leykis at a Los Angeles Kings game,[3] filed a police report against him while they were married and living in Boston in 1993. On December 22 of that year, she alleged that Leykis assaulted and threatened to kill her during a fight after they returned home from a radio station Christmas party. He was subsequently charged with "felony assault and battery and threatening to commit a crime"; a police officer found bruises and scratches on the woman.[9] In March 1994, Leykis was sentenced to a year of probation and ordered to attend a domestic violence class. He completed both, and the charges were dropped, although Leykis did not admit guilt as part of the agreement. The couple have since divorced.[9]

he sounds like a class A a**hole. i don't know why you'd want to learn stuff from a convicted wife beater who disrespects women so fundamentally.

I'd rather kill myself with a spoon than have anyone think I was remotely similar to this individual.

Those actions are reprehensible. He does not condone that behavior on his radio program. I never said he was a classy guy. He teaches men how to get laid. I based my post off his radio program, not his character.

Well it sounds like you should look into becoming a PUA then.

if he acts like a total douche in his personal life with women, then it makes no sense to take his advice about how to interact with women, because he has demonstrated what he actually thinks about them.

Domestic relationships aren't that simplistic. And besides, I don't want to argue about something we both agree on: reprehensible behavior. If you don't like him, don't listen to him. I created the post because I believe Aspergian's can benefit with his realistic approach to women. Women can be conniving, contriving, materialistic, and, yes, want sex as much as men. Now, the same could be said for men too, but that's not the purpose of the thread. I like his realistic, game theoretical approach. It makes sense. Knowing that women like sex as much as men makes me more confident about asking for some. Knowing that some, if not most women, like money, makes me cautious.

if his methods are underpinned by disrespect for women, it would be a mistake to follow them. it would be like getting advice on how to train dogs from a person convicted of animal abuse.

plus he is clearly not happy in his life either (4 divorces means that he wanted to be married but could not make it work).

i should also add that by giving him free advertising (and listening to his shows), you are endorsing his bad behaviour. money talks, so the presenters you turn to on the radio dial (or watch on television or whatever) are the ones who get paid. so basically he gets positive reinforcement for being a gigantic ass.

What I find interesting is that, although he is called all kinds of names, he seems succesful enough to have maintained a show for quite a while.
That means, at the very least, he knows more than I do, meaning he has some experience in that field and is considered attractive enough.
Regardless of what he does, it seems to work. I've never heard of him before, though, and I generally disagree with libertarianism.

Going by most of what you said the same could apply to Rush Limbaugh (but for a different subject). Just because he gets paid does not mean he is not crazy. Even though he has been in relationships the way they end up I don't think it works long term at all.

there are probably males out there who agree with his treatment of women, or who at least don't care. the popularity of his show doesn't mean he was successful at anything in real life.

A person on the spectrum who follows much of the advice of this man might very well be setting themselves up for disaster.

It is not that this man doesn't have some valid points. Let us illustrate what they are.

1. If you don't want children, make this known to your partner, and use contraception.
2. Discuss how you expect unintended pregnancies to be addressed ahead of time.
3. Be confident in that you have self respect and known when to say no.
4. If you just want sex, and not a relationship, make that known as well.

Much else of what the man says is primarily to attract audiences, and could have very negative outcomes if someone with AS should put faith in it.

Unfortunately, there may be method to his madness, the dope managed to get four wives. Didn't last, but he got 'em.

Maybe it's because I'm in a real foul mood, but... the older I get, the more I think women AND men enjoy being used and/or humiliated.
