The hiking trip and the girl...

So I went today to a hiking trip (was almost mountain climbing!), it was organized by the gym center for their prime members.

We were like around ~40 persons bu the huge bus wasn't totally filled, I took a seat behind with no one besides (the gym buddies i know didn't go) and there was an attractive girl in her mid-twenties (i don't know her before) who took the seat in front of me with no one besides her too, both of us were sitting on the window side.

Like after 15 min of drive, she asked if she can open the common curtain between us and I was like 'yes sure', then I started a little chit chat with her asking her what gym activities she's enrolled in...bla bla.. we chit chatted quite well.

As they were playing music I had almost to 'glue' my left side face on the window so i can see and hear her through this little space between us, so I was like "You know, staying here will make my left jaw flatten at the end of the trip, lemme sit next to you", she giggled while I was taking her side seat and we continued the chatting all the way about several matters (our jobs, location, hobbies....etc) to the hiking spot.


As for the hiking part, lemme sum it up that she was my hiking partner all during the trip ;p, got embarrassed a bit as I had almost slipped few times as my shoes weren't ideally adequate for hiking but I took a self-sarcastic approach ie. "you know? you can learn from me where to not step" / "you're hexing me!", made things better as those successively made her giggle/laugh ,she made funny sarcastic comments about those too, she's really humorous.

We almost stayed together all during the trip, the hiking (hand touching included), sharing the fruit found in the wild, the swimming, the lunch....

In our way back (in bus) we were toying with our cellphones talking about some apps, sharing some music and added each other on FB, and stayed with her till her dad came to pick her up from the returning spot (yet my home is within a stone's throw).

This evening I found she was making 'likes' at some of my FB photos and later...

...I got surprised of finding a thank you message from her on fb thanking me for this day and how much she enjoyed my company, I am chatting her there till this moment.


Strong signals of interest rubbing all over my face, eh?

and that got me thinking, If I didn't make this initial move in the bus then none of this would happen, sometime a small step makes the whole difference.

Yes, it is.

So far I got:
2 dates + about 3 small meetups + totally of 4 hot prospects, one of them living abroad coming in august O_O...


And there is like one more potential date coming up live every other day, whether from okc, or skout or yagharami (they still in "knowing me" process)...

I am alpha now? O_O maybe a higher beta.


But this one is the first recent potential from a totally offline meeting.


And oh, the single mom i talked about in an old thread is showing interest again after she knew i am dating others, screw her... i gave her too many chances already.

maybe, who knows. But in the right now you have made quite an improvement.

Just a guy who is getting better at getting dates? There is no clear dividing line, just a whole bunch of unique women and a whole bunch of unique men who want companionship through life.

Tom Leykis is usually right for the United States and most of Europe, but not for the Middle East. It's easy to believe Lebanon is a different place.
What I've always wondered about is how you can get 'beyond' a certain point. There needs to be a point at which you do something that changes the entire situation.
