Perhaps some people would be happier abroad?

Hey,
I just was kind of looking at the dating subforum and looking at the overall level of desperation. Then a thought popped in my mind. Why not make a thread about foriegn dating! So anyways, I was thinking in between the sense of entitlement of SOME women ( not all), the lack of ways to blow steam ( p4p, prostitution) , especially in small areas, somewhat lack of intellectual curiosity as a whole (again not everyone), the staggering divorce rate, and the costs of living (try raising a family on a shrinking value in your currency), it can be hard to date and or raise a family. So what about living elsewhere? While I am not saying there is an utpoia, there are places with better employment opportunities, ways to blow off steam, inexpensive neccesities, better dating scene for some, a better attitude toward life, opportunities for the entrepeneurs among us, along with other things? So, has anyone else considered this option? I am currently working towards bulding an online stream of income that is large enough to live off of. Like I said, thoughts, or anyone else doing this?

I've remotely considered getting a mail order bride if worse comes to worse, but something about that rubs me the wrong way too. But at the same time, there are plenty of Ukrainian women who need husbands. Trust me, I've spent five weeks over the period of two summers when I was in high school.

I gave up being desperate years ago. Just doesn't work. At this point I'm just staying happy by being involved and active.

On another note, I wouldn't mind having a summer home in Australia, somewhere to escape the cold New York winters. Just for a few weeks a year.

The one problem about some online dating sites and mail orders is that they can sometimes bring out some of the not so savory aspects of a particular culture. I wa stalking more about living in or visiting a country , to get a better view. But until I can get my ducks in a row financially, I agree that is the best advice. (Do stuff).

And sometimes they can bring the best. I love ethnic food. I just do.



It's hard since I graduated college. But I'll find some way to socialize, even if it does involve MMORPG's. It's an abstract kind of socializing.
