I am not saying you will get a date, but it will make you happier. And the tip is this: do something. You may ask, "What do you mean?". Well, find something you love, at do it with a passion. Perhaps you could get an extra paycheck from a small online business , you could learn a new skill, travel, get a degree, form a club, beat games, or other things. Just do something. I have found that I feel alot better and dont think quiet as much about dating and such.

I can see how that would work. Guys who have other interests besides constantly trying to find a date are much more interesting. If you have something else in your life that interests you and you enjoy doing, you won't come across as desperate. Believe me, most of us can sense desperation even if it's not being shown or obvious. It's almost like a vibe. You can pick up on unconscious things and just know that the guy (or girl, we get desperate too so this tip is good for girls as well) is desperately trying to find something meaninful for their life and you know that if that meaningful thing becomes you they will be clingy and needy and insecure. Having something else, even though it's not up there with having a romantic partner, will help you be more balanced and that comes across unconsciously too.

ETA; When you have other important interests in your life that you really enjoy and look forward to, you don't seem as defined by your relationship status. That applies to people in relationships and not in relationships. You want to come across to the girl as "interesting guy" instead of "single guy". Does that make any sense? It's hard for me to get this point into words, but that's pretty close.

Eh, I've tried. Getting lost in things like hobbies or interests never satisfy me completely. I still love drawing, writing, art, video games, etc., but I can never get rid of this feeling of loneliness. I guess that makes me clingy and desperate, and that's why people are driven away. Still, I don't want to waste my time being so materialistic and would rather spend it with people who matter to me. Letting myself get sucked into my own little world has only been a way to sleepwalk through life, with absolutely no purpose or progress.

Not that I'm really actively looking for anyone. I'll be damned if I'm going to put anyone on a pedestal and jump through hoops for them. There are some hings I need to work on, if only because I'd be embarrassed, but otherwise I see no going in going out of my way to impress someone. I'd probably have a better chance at finding someone good for me if I just take a passive role and let them be assertive.

And one more thing: I also take supplements that seems to help. I take glutathione, b3, and d (I think I might take one other thing, but can't remember),Those seem to bring down anxiety and depression when I take them. And I see a huge difference when I don't take them. I personally take the MaxGXL brand, which helps with absorption of the glutathione.

I do this all the time.

Due to Asperger's I don't really have that strong of an interest in girls/women ATM, but I build self-esteem exercising and making money with my parents,
