Understanding mood swings?

My girldfriend went to bed about 20 minutes ago. Didn't say anything (that I noticed?) about a bad mood, but I kissed her goodnight and gave her some comforting scratches on her head like I usually do when she goes to bed, and then I continued watching TV online.

I was just checking Facebook and I see she's posted a status update: "When annoyed it's time for bed."

The thing is, I really didn't notice anything? I don't know if I did something or it's something personal with her....

I almost woke her up to ask about it but figured if she went to bed mad she'd probably destroy me if I woke her up to discuss the situation.

Anyway, how do you all deal with situations like this? UGH :(

Do people really expect others to know they're upset if they don't say anything??

Let her tides run their courses. Sooner or later, the tide will shift and you'll be allowed back into port.
