I'm new to the forum; new to finding out I have Aspergers too (or is it high-functioning Autism?). Anyhow, I have a few pictures I'll put on when I get home.

THE FACTS: 36 years old, male, San Diego, California, tech-support for a living, still educating myself in Cisco routers and database administration.

I'd love to meet a lady with the same condition (and understanding of it). Friends first, the rest will develop if its going to. I like having friends too. :D

I always felt defective in large groups, never liked parties, prefer activities with friends to watching TV (although I love shows like Rome and Deadwood).

Physical activities include fencing, wrestling, kayaking, and walking on the beach. Sedentary activities include RPGs, writing, WoW, Computer games, watching movies or premium shows (HBO has some good stuff these days).

I am usually up for trying new activities, as long as it isn't a lot of partying. NOT into drugs, don't smoke, drink infrequently at most to not at all.

Anyhow, if you want to do something sometime, let me know. San Diego has a lot of nice sights and a lot of stuff to do. I'll post some pictures over the next couple of days.

I like some of the shows coming from HBO. The Sopranos, Band of Brothers, Deadwood, and Rome in particular. They seem to have gone all out with historical accuracy of settings, portraying how life really was, believable settings and characters, etc (even if they took a few liberties with the story line). Band of Brothers was both historically accurate and a perfect setting. Sopranos makes a believable pitch at the life of a gangster. All of these shows seem to be of the highest quality, and give me exactly what I am looking for in viewing entertainment.

I don't actually have HBO; I rent or download movies, or borrow DVDs from friends (usually by their recommendations). Are their HBO shows you're fond of?

He's my childhood hero. By the time I was fourteen I believe I saw Raiders around eleven times.

Of course I was a Han Solo fan as well... I'm glad it put a smile on your face!

Anyway, pleased to meet you, and good luck with whatever you're looking for (see, i'm getting back on topic) especially as you have such good taste.

You can hardly ruin my thread by being the second cool person to respond to it.

It's very nice to meet you. I hope you find what you're looking for as well. :)

I liked the sopranos (early seasons moreso), entourage, and curb your enthusiasm. You seen the last two?

Band of Brothers and Rome were incredible.

Plus, new season of Rome coming soon - woohoo! This will be about Caesar Augustus.

Oh and I'm straight, but I'd do that James Purefoy.
