What kind of girl would you date?

I'm curious on what kind of girl would you date? Males only can answer this obviously.. But I have always been single so maybe the way I look/act has something to do with that..

But my question is what kind of girl would you date?

Lesbians can answer too!

As a guy though, I find it dangerous to try and typecast women as "the type I want" but I do have a few general standards:

-Lives healthily (No I'm not saying be a pencil, I'm just saying don't be a balloon)
-Understands and appreciates my differences as an introverted Aspie
-Confident, has self-respect, has opinionated views, direct communicator: no beating around the bush
-Doesn't believe in gender roles but believes in equality in a relationship
-Obviously won't cheat or be abusive

Weird like me, with a sense of adventure.

I've been finding "normal" being more and more of a turn-off as I get older.

Sanity is also important.

I used to have a long list, but am finding most things other than what I mentioned to be fairly trivial.

1. Large set of common interests.
2. Similar attitudes, habits and political views. (Vegetarian would be a great turn-on, smoker would be an exclusion criterion.)

Appearance: Well, I think she should apply some basic personal hygiene. Slightly worn-out clothes are not a problem, as I hate shopping, too, and this would constitute a similarity (point 2). “Sexy” clothing and make-up scare me.
A bit of excess weight is OK, but too much probably means that her eating habits differ from mine.


Note that all this probably doesn't apply to most NTs.

Manic Pixie Dream Girl

I'd date a girl that isn't into the sound of her own voice. I know its harsh but really, most girls I meet just small chat like crazy on the most inane and bovine of subjects. Why..yes...I'm dating you...why are you talking about how bad the nails of another girl in your class are? Seriously now...

I'd date a girl that prefers to be with me and not the places she can be with me. Materialism is irritating.

I'd date a girl who respects herself and her appearance. Not saying she must be a supermodel and look fashionable, I mean that if she's going to wear a t-shirt and jeans then at least have them be decent looking...not torn faded jeans with a 'im a b***h' t-shirt.

I'd date a girl that doesn't go overboard with makeup. The things you see nowadays... ouch.

Overall though, one that is kind, smart and respectful.

I thought that was gonna say something else like a Large set of jugs.

Anyway... I guess I don't really look for anything other than... compatibility.
Then again... who knows.

But if she wants me to talk to her rather than stare at her, she shouldn't wear any clothing that emphasizes this too much.

Well... in no particular order...

1. Born Again Christian
2. Good morals
3. At least some aspie traits (strong interests, honest, quirky, etc.)
4. I prefer shorter women (5'5" and under)
5. Non smoker
6. Non drinker
7. Interesting personality and not afraid to assert herself

I really dont care about philosophical values politically or religously, she could be a satanic fascist for all I cared. No I just want someone whom I can share my thoughts with and she could share her thoughts with me, she would be reasonably to highly attractive and would share similar interests to mine (A brony for example)

Attractive, her hair, eyes, clothes, healthy body (curvy is good)
Someone I feel comfortable with.
I can see that she is comfortable around me.
I don't have to pretend all the time
She challenges me, but is aware when I cannot cope any more
Playful, this could be words, some tricks/teasing, body language flirting or light wrestling (as we get older this seems to get difficult)

I like ''lead'' women. Women who can start a conversation, who can plans thing, and see men as equal and doesn't do the whole alpha-beta male thing. Of course she has to be nice and I have to find her attractive or not bad looking (she doesn't have to look like model). She has to put in effort in the relationship. Your #1 and #2 are very noble AND realistic expectations. Don't let anyone make you doubt that.

If I take all the replies in this thread, mash them together and simplify the mass, the outcome would be nothing more or less than: "a girl with a smokin' hot body and a ridiculously high sex-drive".
