here is one of the reasons I've semi-retire from dating.
There is way too many conflicting advice. at one moment I hear ''you need to treat women
like human and don't view them as sex object''
but a moment a later I hear ''women like men who treat them bad, show no respect towards
women and they will flock towards you''

wtf. what is it. I hear if your nice to a women, she think your a wimp, and not worth her time.
But if you are rude towards a woman, somehow she think you have confidence and she will give you her time.
if you agree with a woman, you get called a push over.
if don't agree with a woman, then you get call selfish and sexist.

this is why I don't even bother with the whole dating scene. and why I don't follow any dating advice.
I going to enjoy my life and then worry about all these stupid conflict rules that I have to do.
Just to get some woman to date me.

That's because everyone is different.

Lots of girls expect and deserve to be respected and treated well.
Lots of girls are princesses and expect the be showered with riches, fame and power.
Lots of girls are NOT confident and respond well to abuse (ala the "treat girls like crap" advice.)
Lots of girls are (???)

So, other than dumping a bucket of glitter on your head so you sparkle in the sun, you're just going to have to talk to them and find a person relatively compatible. ;)

No ONE method will ever work on the diversity that is the human race.

About the only thing that can improve your odds across the board is to look clean, healthy, smell acceptable, not be a burden financially or emotionally, and have a healthy confidence in yourself.

It's not confusing. It's actually quite simple:

Quote:
"'you need to treat women like human and don't view them as sex object''

This is either advice given by women or advice given by both genders with regards to what is right, which is not necessarily the same thing as what works best. Some would say that nice guys finish last, but being nice is still the right thing to do.

Quote:
''women like men who treat them bad, show no respect towards
women and they will flock towards you''

This is almost always advice given by men, and it's based on what supposedly works for the majority of women. Which may or may not be true. But many men think this way, and many women tend to respond this way also.

Some women respond positively to both approaches, perhaps depending on who is doing it. For example, it is likely that most aspies can only get away with being nice and respectful (otherwise they are sexist, creeps, or jerks). Women only like powerful alpha males who treat them badly. Many NT's can develop this persona, even if they don't have it naturally; it is unlikely that most autistic males could, so for autistic men, trying to demean women is more likely to end in a call to the police or a firing than it is to end in bed.

It's probably good advice that the women who are more likely to be tolerant of autistic men are the ones most likely to respond positively to a guy who is being nice and respectful, as opposed to an NT alpha jerk (if alpha jerks were their type, they would not be considering autistic men). So that is the approach I have typically used, and it seems to work for me.

People (in this case, women) give off signs of how they expect to be treated. Get a feel for the woman's expectations over time.

But, you should just be who you are. Any act you put on to secure the relationship won't be sustainable.

One thing I have noticed is that nice or mean... Women are univeresally attracted to confident and carefree men. A lot of people have a lot of problems displaying this attitude.
