So, here's my dilemma: Both sides of me, relationship me and independent me are warring with each other. I mean, part of me is sick of loneliness after a quarter-century, whereas another half of me is saying I am better off being alone.

The Q is: Which side should I trust? It's just tough.

not enough info to answer your question. that said, most folks are happier in a relationship.

What I am trying to get is, that I can't decide what to do, stay alone forever, or make some progress in my life by finding that woman in my life (which I am making progress in, BTW).
