hoping it goes well. She wanted to go to McDonald's of all things. McDonald's ain't the most impressive place, but the nearby coffeehouse closes at 4:00 pm, and she wanted to meet at 5:00 pm.

Well, it went pretty well. But she wants someone to go drinking alcohol with. Not my thing. Datehookup.com kind of sucks because you can't learn much about the person that way.... Most people just have a short paragraph about themselves and that's it. OkCupid profiles usually have more about the person, plus usually there are a lot questions answered by both people.
