Attracted to androgynous features

Am I the only one who is particularly attracted to members of the opposite sex with androgynous characteristics?

I wonder if this is the autism in me that causes this. By androgynous features with women, I mean facial features, behaviors, and being strongly built (not the same as overweight) and such.

I am very attracted to people of both sexes who appear and behave in an androgynous manner. I adore characters in the media such as Lisbeth Salander (as played by Noomi Rapace), Willy Wonka and Ed Wood (both portrayed by Johnny Depp), and how could I forget Dr. Frank N. Furter (Tim Curry's most famous role)? A big factor that plays into my affection for those characters has to do with the fact that they are all androgynous. I only wish I could meet people in real life who are that hot! On a somewhat related note, I also like it when women wear men's briefs. hehe

Not really. I do like men with nice, full lips though. And I find 'feminine' eyes (big, almond shaped, long lashes) also really hot on a guy. But only when the rest of the features are angular enough.

I find androgyny sexually attractive in women, but not so much in men. I find David Bowie mesmerizing, but Tilda Swinton is hotter.

Any other men? Maybe I'm just the only one who didn't watch TV growing up so haven't been influenced by media standards much.

I'll admit to having an attraction to handsome tomboyish women but they rarely feel the same. The more feminine women tend to flock to me much more frequently. Good thing I'm also attracted to femininity.

I'd say on the sexuality spectrum I'm about 60% straight male, 30% Lesbian woman and 10% flamboyantly gay male so a little androgeny is alright.

He/she is not attractive though. You can have androgynous features and still be attractive.

Dressing in baggy pants, plaid shirts, and having a round shape is unattractive in both men and women!

Well that's insulting. Either people like what you like, or they've been brainwashed by the media. Nice.

The media has false standards regarding what constitutes masculinity/femininity. It's entirely possible to be attracted to very feminine women or very masculine men who look nothing like what the media presents as ideal.

I tend to be attracted to what I think of as very feminine looking women.



I like that too, or when they wear men's clothes in general. But maybe for different reasons, the contrast of a traditionally male garment on a woman's body can make them look more feminine.
