Aspie (hetero) women, would you prefer, or avoid, Aspie men for love, theoretically speaking an Aspie man might understand you better and relate to you better, as I identify with some (but not all) of Kirinia Kosawage's life story. On the other hand maybe a NT might show enjoy higher social status and so dating the football quarterback might raise your social profile.

To head off any question "what about aspie men" (or lesbians) I'm making this post, and as a straight dude, i couldn't care less what aspie guys (or lesbians) prefer ;-)

I just prefer a man that can accept me and appreciate me and treat me right whether he has Aspergers or not. :)

I have tried being with NT’s when my husband and I divorced… They don’t understand me at all. Some of them tried very hard to, but it came across ( to me anyway) condescending at best. My husband and I remarried. We couldn’t be apart. He ran into the same problems I did. He couldn’t relate to them, nor they to him.
We finally decided we just aren’t good for other people. 

I prefer neither.

Aspies tend to be intense and irritating, and clingy, and NT's tend to be heartless, selfish and Bitchy.

I like Aspie men. I think it's from experience.

And yes Hale_Bopp, NT men tend to be quite bitchy. They complain a lot. 8O

Right now, I'm in a successful relationship with an understanding NT who knows what I deal with and tolerates it...I have tried both NT and AS guys, both of which I find to be wonderful, if you can find the right person...

I would prefer a NT male with the dormant autistic communicative gene.

I have an NT male boyfriend. We've been together for nearly two years. I think he can deal with me because he's an oddball himself and is surrounded by other oddballs, who, even if they're NTs, don't think within the mainstream.

I prefer either. Just as long as they undertsand me and care about me and don't treat me bad and we get along fine and we have things in common. I'm taken now and things are fine so far.
