May spend this mating season without a mate

I like to call Spring and Summer the "Human mating seasons" primarily because it seems the time when biology kicks in and tells both males and females that they need to attract a mate. I suppose we do these in different ways Women enjoy dressing scantly and become picky about the type of men they hang out with, while Men also dress scantly and tend to be friendlier to their female counterparts as anyone of them to a man could be a potential mate. Most Humans in this period generally mate once, and may mate again but these chances are unlikely; but there are some Humans like myself who would much rather have one mate for life. I am someone who has never had a female mate before, and like I said probably wont find one do to the fact that I do not dress scantly and to be a little less than friendly to most females.

Still as I have said in many posts before it is an important thing to keep your head up not every deer can find a mate each season, not every dolphin mates for life, and not every Human mates the same. But the good thing about it is we don't give up, we wait till next season and even seasons in between, and while we wait we strive and we get better at attracting potential mates. So even though myself and many of you will stay mateless just remember you can't be alone forever not if you don't at least try.

I definitely agree with this. I haven't really participated in "mating season," though. The one time that I was in a relationship in high school it occurred during the Fall. I definitely like the encouragement though.

Also, it sounds weird reading "mates" and "mating" so much.


I think there is something to the summer, but it makes since if you look at where humans evolved from.

Of course, if your in a relationship, you might get more sex during the winter when your locked up in the house with nothing to do.

In dramatic arts class, we learned to associate seasons with genres of plays.

Fall- Tragedy.
Winter- Irony/Satire
Spring- Comedy
Summer- Romance.

In a philosophical standpoint, the summertime is much hotter and people are usually in better shape and more friendly. The sunlight factor comes into play as well. In the fall, things tend to look bleak as the days get shorter and shorter and the grass disappears because the leaves are falling off the tree and covering the grass. The winter is depressing and you don't see as much light and everything just becomes dark. Once spring comes along, you start to appreciate things again
comedy isn't usually meant to be funny, but is meant to tell a story of appreciation most of the time from what I have observed. It just so happens that along the way to the happy ending, there are things that happen that make you laugh in hindsight.
