Single ones: What's it gonna take for that someone to come?

And get your mind out of the gutter with that title. I am asking what will it take for you guys/gals who are still single for that man/woman of your dreams to come in to your life.

Mine: Someone who is understanding of me, doesn't compare me to bad people like Jerry Sandusky, is willing to help me without the prissiness my parents offer, and who will like my vast array of knowledge and humor.

It will require me to be able to look into his eyes and send off confident signals that I like him. It would help if I could flirt. I would also need to somehow overcome the extreme intensity of intimate physical contact without freaking out at the slightest touch. I need a guy with a battering ram to smash through all my defences.

I have no idea. If I knew, then they would already be in my life.

i think me making more of a effort would sort it im getting there slowly just trying to build my confidence up

What an interesting question - probably just the right circumstances, I guess. From getting to know one or two people here (male), I can see that I would probably have an easier time if I tried to date aspies in real life - so I guess just the right aspie guy Am sure we'll find each other! Who knows, maybe we already have....

Personally, and not being depressed about it either, I just don't care anymore. I am not a believer that I will ever find someone that I know I will be happy and comfortable enough with to reach that level

I don't have much hope that they will come in to my life through the natural course of things. I have to work hard to find them. I just keep looking, keep trying, until they are found. I have a pretty good idea of who they are, so I just need to put my feelers out and hope to come into contact with them.

Someone who's grown up a little bit. Might have to wait a while.

The other person to initiate first, and in a way that leaves no gray area open to interpretation. Someone who would say something to the effect of: "Hey, why haven't you asked me out yet?" If they aren't that blunt, I will never try again.

It's going to come down to mostly me. I have to learn to be my best self and know exactly what my purpose is in life in order for me to be with the right woman, and I may have to go through hundreds of women to do so.

Not be Boring

Not be a b***h

At this point, I think it's gonna take thousands of dollars worth of plastic surgery.

A means of traveling to a parallel universe because there is no way she could be on this one.
